Three packages for building with .cell names, all on npm. cellula-mcp gives an AI agent .cell names. Ask it whether sofia.cell is free: it reads the chain and says yes, 3,346.5 CKB a year plus a 240 CKB deposit. To register, it hands you a link to sign with your own wallet. It holds no key and sends nothing. npx -y cellula-mcp cellula-sdk 0.3.1 registers and manages names, signs in with a name, and connects the Cellula passkey wallet (testnet). cellula-id resolves a name in one call, with no dependencies. npmjs.com/package/cellula-mc…

You shouldn't have to pick between easy or yours. On CKB, we're building easy and yours 👇 🫆 Your face is your signature 🏷️ Pay a name, not a string of characters ⚡ Tiny payments that land in a blink 📱 Your phone checks the chain itself. No server to trust 🌱 Idle coins that grow while you sleep 🕶️ Get paid without your history on display 🛡️ A vault built for the quantum era 🧩 Objects that live fully on chain 🤝 Lose your wallet? Friends you trust get you back in. Nobody else can All in one app. Test it with us on the 26th. Spots are limited. Join our telegram: t.me/cellula_id

What is a .cell? A name you really own: it lives in your wallet, next to your coins, not on somebody's server. One name for your page, Lightning, CKB, Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDC, checked against the chain, not trusted. cellula.id Watch it work ↓

CKB Crates will update to v1.0, and Molecule is moving to a new version with migration tools provided. - @FiberDevs has successfully fixed the Fiber Network fund loss issue and is now conducting extensive large-scale testing to ensure stability and security. Developer Tools & SDKs 🛠 - @CKBDevrel has released a Canary version of the DOB Render SDK within CCC (github.com/ckb-devrel/ccc/pu…) - @rgbppfans has fixed redundant Paymaster fees in the RGB++ SDK (github.com/RGBPlusPlus/rgbpp…). - A new educational page for CKB wallet and address concepts from @CKBdev (craft-ckb-address.vercel.app…) has been launched. Web5 & Ecosystem 🚀 - DAO 1.1: Login and proposal publishing are complete, with voting integration currently underway. - BBS: The team is progressing on post and section management pages, and actively designing an ACP-based tipping solution for micropayments. - Web5 Standards: Daily documentation updates are being made for Web5 WIP (Work-in-Progress) protocol standards, which will eventually be transferred to the web5fans repository. Efforts are also being made to define the scope of these standards and plan an official Web5 website. - In a moment of profound validation, Michel Bauwens @mbauwens of the P2P Foundation has created a dedicated wiki page for Web5. This recognizes the vision for a decentralized web built on Bitcoin, as we are building with RGB++, Fiber Network, and USDI. Check out the page here: wiki.p2pfoundation.net/Web5 - The Neuron iCKB mis-transfer issue for Neuron users has been successfully resolved. Spark Program Updates 🌱 - Blackbox: We're excited to announce a new Spark grant for Blackbox (By @ckbsamurai and Phillip), a hardware-based POS terminal by Neon and Phillip. This project aims to enable both fiat and crypto payments, focusing on CKB L2 / Fiber assets to bridge on-chain settlement with real-world merchant adoption. - SoMo - Pixel Territory (By @tecmeup): The project now features multi-wallet support (JoyID, UTXO Global, Metamask), a live balance display, influence scoring, a real-time leaderboard, and extensive UI/UX enhancements, including responsive desktop design and social sharing. Pending tasks include Spore Protocol integration and database migration. - Project Tracking Platform (By Emmanuel): The backend demo is live (youtube.com/watch?v=EG7_mFDe…). Next steps include UX/UI improvements, automated reminders, and integration with the Nervos Discord server. The future is being built, piece by piece. Stay tuned for our next update!

🚴 Fiber Dev Log 13 🚴 We just dropped Fiber v0.6.0-rc4 — getting closer to the stable 0.6. ⚡ Atomic MPP (multi-path payments) is now in! On the bug fix side, we tackled issues like channels getting stuck or payment failures not being logged properly. TLC expiry checks and fuzz testing are also more reliable. On the performance side, payment hop data deserialization is now faster. 🚀 Coming up next: - Fiber v0.6 stable release — right around the corner. - Ongoing work on multi-hop cross-chain payments - Planning support for disabling intermediate hops Full dev log: github.com/nervosnetwork/fib… @CKBdev @CKBDevrel @NervosNetwork

➥ The Ethereum EVM Era Ends Here @ethereum is preparing for its most radical change since launch, replacing the EVM with RISC-V. Not a tweak, but a complete re-architecture of the execution layer. How will this change the future of $ETH? Let's dive in 🧵 ... ➠ The Problem with the EVM The EVM unlocked DeFi and NFTs, but today it’s a bottleneck. ➢ zkEVMs run 50–800x slower because every instruction goes through an interpreter instead of executing directly. ➢ The 256-bit stack wastes resources in most operations. ➢ Precompiles add complexity, risk, and consensus fragility. ➢ Outdated design makes compiler optimization harder. Result → expensive proofs, scaling limits, protocol bloat. ... ➠ What RISC-V? RISC-V is a minimalist, open instruction set (~47 base instructions) that has already become the standard for zkVMs (9 out of 10 use it). ➢ Backed by a formal spec (SAIL) → enables proofs of correctness. ➢ Hardware proving path (ASICs/FPGAs) already tested. ➢ Supported by mainstream dev tools ( @rustlang, @golang , Python ). ➢ Lean, simple, and easier to verify than the EVM. It fits perfectly into Ethereum’s broader “Lean Execution” vision. ... ➠ Migration Strategy @VitalikButerin outlines a 3-phase path to move from EVM to RISC-V. ➢ Phase 1: Use RISC-V for precompiles. Low-risk, limited scope, but gives real-world testing. ➢ Phase 2: Run a dual-VM setup where EVM and RISC-V co-exist. Contracts can interact across both, so nothing breaks. ➢ Phase 3: The EVM itself becomes an emulated contract inside RISC-V. Legacy apps keep running, but Ethereum consolidates to one clean execution layer. This gradual path avoids disruption, preserves compatibility, and lets RISC-V prove itself step by step. ... ➠ Why RISC V ➢ ~100x cheaper proofs, path to 10,000 TPS. ➢ Lower fees, faster settlement for users. ➢ Developers gain access to mainstream languages. ➢ ZK rollups benefit massively; optimistic rollups see minimal disruption. ... ➠ Real-World Example Teams are already building with RISC-V at the core. ➢ @SuccinctLabs SP1 zkVM → uses a precompile-centric design to remove cryptographic bottlenecks and achieve faster finality. ➢ @cartesiproject → runs its rollup VM on RISC-V, bringing Linux and mainstream dev tools into Web3. ➢ @RunningCKB → adopted RISC-V early for its flexibility and security in smart contract execution. ➢ @boundlesshq (RISK Zero) → zkVM implementing the full RISC-V ISA as a zero-knowledge circuit, enabling scalable verifiable computation for any chain. ... ➠ Risks The shift to RISC-V comes with real challenges. Gas metering on a general ISA is complex, compilers like LLVM add new trust assumptions, and reproducible builds remain unresolved. Some developers also warn about execution slowdowns and backward compatibility issues. This is why the roadmap is phased: test first, then scale. ... ➠ Wrap-Up This shift has the potential to change Ethereum at its core. From an execution engine weighed down by complexity, to a lean and verifiable base layer designed for scale. If RISC-V proves itself, Ethereum moves closer to becoming the trust layer for global finance and applications. Is Ethereum ready to change from the EVM to RISC-V?
