Happy that I can finally talk about it: I will be switching jobs and start with @adessomobile in April.
I am really looking forward to interesting new projects and especially building up a new team in Paderborn.
-> I will probably post some job openings in the future.
Found two of my old Kickstarter sins while cleaning up.
@EasyAllies: would any of you be interested in a "only used once" ouya and/or Gamestick?
Not sure if you can really use them still, but it's at least a great memorabilia of a crazy time period where kickstarting was hot
Fun fact: xing just recommended a new position to me: the position that I had before my promotion (i.e., the position which I now need a new colleague for).
Not sure if that means that xings algorithm works or that it doesn't.
Disney plus is certainly a gift in these times.
Having dinner on the couch with my wife and watching episodes of "gummy bears" is something I never imagined happening - but it is a joy.
I can finally confirm -i signed my contract today- that I will be a leading a group of SW-project managers and Integrators starting March 1st
Who knew this "getting a promotion in the industry" thing would be that easy ;)
Kidding aside: I am looking forward to the new challenge

Lego definitely won yesterday. We only managed around 15 sets + some that are half finished.
But we completed 2 police stations. - and they took almost 3 hours each (searching is roughly 80%)
Pictures will follow
To give everyone a short overview of what Lego sets I built in the last two weeks here is a complete picture.
Some of them have a few parts missing that we hopefully find today.
My goal is to at least triple the amount of sets:)
Okay.
A short heads up for my tweets the next days.
A few weeks ago I got all the Lego me and my brothers had from my dad (he moved).
I spent a few evenings sorting the pieces by color (see picture). I also started building a few sets.
However it is way too much to build alone. My most conservative estimates are something around 90 sets.
So Tomorrow me and my brothers will spend the whole day building Lego sets.
I am really looking forward to this and try to share pictures.
Short review of assassin's Creed symphonies:
The idea of combining video footage with music is clever.
But I am not sure why the creators included scenes in which you hear dialogue form the games.
It is weird and adds nothing to the experience.
In theory the concept of having one piece for each game sounds cool.
But the music is to similar and it simply to much.
It could have been easily 30 mins shorter.
