for a long time, you may have known me in pieces. today, that work has a home.
from tragedy to triumph — my new book — is here. thaddeusford.com
what happened to you does not have to determine what happens through you next. welcome home. 🏡
ok nevermind. i'll be quiet. but still, missed pat? where @GHartley5 at?! 🙌🏾 ⚜️
it's not over. but across the board (coaching, offense, defense, special teams, play calling, discipline, leadership, heart, etc) we are showing our true colors. it's still #whodat but this is painful ⚜️🤷🏾♂️
sometimes growth isn’t adding more.
sometimes it’s removing what keeps you from seeing what was already there.
fundamentals matter. technique matters.
but eventually, the question becomes: who are you, what do you have to say, and what do you want to contribute through your horn?
that’s the work.
responsibility is not blame.
blame asks:
who did this to me?
responsibility asks:
what am i going to do now?
you can survive what happened to you and still spend the rest of your life being controlled by it.
surviving isn’t freedom.
