I've heard it too. But Titus 3 says God saved us—not because of what we did, but because of His mercy. Nothing left to prove.
Spent some time today in a place called Hope. Reminded me again, thankfully, that hope is significant, we all need it, it saves us, drives us forward, enables us to believe in what is to come. Hope is the language & behaviour of Jesus. Whatever situation you are in, HOPE!
