DeFi doesnβt have a liquidity problem. It has a trust problem.
Letβs be honest.
Most protocols donβt want you to become financially free. They want you to become exit liquidity.
They advertise ridiculous APYs, throw around words like innovation and decentralization, and build fancy dashboards.
But the moment incentives dry up, TVL disappears, token prices collapse, and suddenly the community is told to remain patient.
Where are the builders when the rewards stop?
Where is the decentralization when insiders control most of the supply?
And why are users expected to believe in long-term vision when teams canβt even communicate during a crisis?
DeFi needs fewer marketing narratives and more protocols that can survive without bribing users to stay.

@2FactorFinance is building a different approach to leveraged exposure, designed around how an asset behaves over time.
Traditional leverage faces two major challenges over longer holding periods which is volatility drag and financing drag.
@2FactorFinance tackles these through a structure that separates an asset's volatility into two perpetual tranches: a protected senior position and a leveraged junior position.
It also uses Kelly optimization to determine leverage ratios based on the characteristics of each asset, rather than applying the same multiple to everything.

There are three main areas:

The ten highest-ranked accounts will split a total prize of 1 BTC, paid in cbBTC.
The distribution follows a fixed rank-based curve:

β Rank 10: 1.8%
The leaderboard freezes when Season One ends, which happens when @2FactorFinance launches.
So participation is based on completing eligible actions and building your position on the leaderboard, not simply holding an asset.

I tried to swap 20 USDC for SOL last week.

first, the gas fees are paid in USDC. transactions reach finality in under a second.
then you have Aave, Morpho and Uniswap among the protocols available from day one.
