We keep expecting each new Prime Minister to make a difference. We are disappointed every time. We keep expecting things to get better. They do not. We keep expecting politicians to act for the people. Scandal after scandal proves they act for themselves. Einstein called it insanity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Yet that is exactly what we do at every election. We change the faces and keep the system, and the system is the problem. It rewards moonlighting, hidden money, unqualified ministers, untested policies and contractors who milk the taxpayer. It punishes nothing. Read the changes we need - the changes that mean politicians serve the people not themselves. xitter.cf/thebigcomment/status/2…

Since Trump’s election: -Musk got $680 billion richer -Musk became the 1st trillionaire -SpaceX got $10 billion in federal contracts -Tesla & SpaceX paid $0 in federal income taxes Now, Musk’s spending $442 million to keep Republicans in control of Congress. Gee, I wonder why?

Kemi, Israel and the Money Why does Kemi Badenoch oppose sanctions targeting businesses linked to illegal Israeli settlements? One possible reason. JCB machinery has been documented demolishing Palestinian homes and supporting settlement construction in the occupied West Bank. Between 2001 and 2022, JCB companies and the Bamford family donated £16.24 million to the Conservatives. Since Badenoch became leader, JCB group companies have donated another £1.3 million. Political donations do not automatically prove influence. But when a major donor is connected to documented human rights abuses, serious questions arise about political accountability and whose interests are being protected.

🔴@Helen_Whately, Shadow Secretary of State for Work & Pensions, has claimed £2 MILLION expenses in 10 years. £300,000 relates to her own travel and accommodation - yet she only lives 50 miles from London. Her boss, @KemiBadenoch has 3 children, claims £2.7K per month to rent a 6 bed farmhouse & tried to claim expenses for a family holiday. The country can't afford these @Conservatives. - @Heccles94

A new petition to launch a public inquiry into the UK's role in the Gaza genocide has already reached over 20,000 signatures. If it surpasses 100,000, it must be considered for a debate in parliament. 👉petition.parliament.uk/petit…

So Israel has no respect for sovereignty despite telling others to keep out of Israeli politics and how they conduct their affairs. Isn't there just a little irony in this! However, influence normally equates to money, corruption, bribes and blackmail so essentially that is what he is saying. We have 'influenced' most of South America!
JUST IN: 🇮🇱🇧🇷 Netanyahu hints that despite they didn’t get Brazil at least they have nine countries that are now on his side: “In South America, although it seems Brazil has not completed the shift, there are at least eight or nine countries that have already moved to our side.“

So let's interpret this. I want to devastate millions of lives, destroy their homes, seize their land, and kill innocent people. But I'm generous, we can share this experience and hey look at me laughing it will be fun!
Smotrich: 'My son wants me to leave some Lebanon for him to destroy later. I told him don't worry, there will be enough for everyone.' Generational evil🤮

Our politicians should not affiliations or payments from foreign governments or their proxies - period - Israel, Russia - none. Taking money from a foreign government, lobbying for another country's interests, spreading propaganda, or being influenced by a foreign state commonly falls under offences such as: • Bribery • Corruption • Misconduct in public office • Espionage • Foreign interference offences under the National Security Act 2023
Watch the full video here: youtube.com/watch?v=Cqf5dOvZ… We got a furious response from the former Conservative minister Lord Michael Gove when we asked about his position on Israel at the Labour Conference. Gove claimed he knew more about antisemitism than Zack Polanski, the only Jewish leader of a major political party in the UK. He also accused us of not being journalists and of an obsession with Israel, despite the Labour government's change in position on the occupation of Palestine being the key topic at this year's conference. Gove now sits in the House of Lords and is editor of right-wing magazine The Spectator.

The moment your argument becomes “our ancestors lived here 3,000 years ago”, you have wandered out of international law and into historical cosplay. Jewish historical connection to Judea and Samaria is real. But ancient ancestry is not a modern property deed, and religious belief does not confer sovereignty over land occupied by other people. Aboriginal Australians inhabited Australia for tens of thousands of years before European colonisation. Native Americans occupied vast territories long before Europeans arrived. Celtic peoples inhabited much of Britain before the Anglo Saxons and Normans. Greeks, Romans, Persians and countless other civilisations could all produce historical claims to territories now occupied by others. If everyone claimed sovereignty based on where their ancestors lived, or where their religion declared they had a divine right to live, the entire world map would have to be redrawn. Borders would become a plate of spaghetti, with competing claims stretching back thousands of years. And whose historical claim takes precedence? The oldest? The most recent? The strongest army? The religion with the most convincing promise from God? History explains cultural identity, belonging and attachment to land. It does not automatically establish ownership or sovereignty. Indigenous peoples can have legitimate rights to restitution and recognition, but those rights are not simply a licence to displace everyone else. The fundamental flaw in your argument is that you treat Jewish historical and religious claims as grounds for sovereignty while disregarding the equally real history, presence and rights of Palestinians. If ancient ancestry and religious scripture become the basis of modern territorial sovereignty, international law becomes meaningless and every historical grievance becomes a potential territorial war. History is not a property deed. Religion is not a land registry. And a promise from God is not a legal title to somebody else's home. @GoldsteinBrooke
The Jewish people are indigenous to Gaza. The children of Israel have a LONG history in Gaza and have been there way before the establishment of the modern State of Israel in 1948. The indigenous Jews’ presence in Gaza goes back thousands of years to Biblical times and includes centuries of Jewish religious life, scholarship, and community. The ancient synagogue and its Hebrew inscriptions prove Jewish presence in Gaza roughly 1,500 years ago. 1. Gaza's Biblical History: Gaza is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible, including Joshua 15, which lists Gaza and its surrounding towns within the territory allotted to the tribe of Judah. 2. Samson's Final Days: In the Book of Judges, it is told that biblical Israelite hero Samson was captured by the Philistines and brought to Gaza, where he died after bringing down a temple. 3. Ancient Jewish Synagogue: Archaeologists discovered the remains of a sixth-century synagogue in Gaza, dating to approximately 508–509 CE. Its mosaic floor depicted King David playing a lyre, with his name inscribed in Hebrew. 4. Jewish Scholars and Poets: Gaza was home to prominent Jewish religious figures, including Rabbi Israel Najara, a 16th–17th-century poet who composed Kah Ribon Olam, a hymn still sung on Shabbat today. 5. The Jewish Community of Gaza: Jews continued living in Gaza into the 20th century. During the anti-Jewish violence of 1929 in British Mandatory Palestine, Gaza's Jewish community was evacuated. 6. Thousands of Years of Jewish Heritage: Together, these historical, biblical, archaeological, and cultural examples demonstrate a longstanding Jewish connection to Gaza.

How can anyone celebrate killing other people like this - how low humanity has stooped
This is not a scene from a movie. These are our homes in Gaza, being destroyed live on camera. Criminals usually try to conceal their crimes. But here in Gaza, the crime itself has become “content.” The destruction of civilians’ homes and the devastation of their lives have become moments of entertainment, filmed and shared for the world to see. A video that the world must never forget.

🚨 The @BoardofDeputies has declared @TheGreenParty a racist, antisemitic party for its opposition to Zionism. We need to unpick just how deeply hypocritical this position is, and the extraordinary double standards at its heart. The Board fiercely defends Zionism and the Jewish right to national self-determination, while in 2025 actively opposed Britain's recognition of Palestine as a state. It acknowledges the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, but largely frames it as just that: a humanitarian catastrophe. It hasn't recognised Israel's actions as genocide or unequivocally condemned the Israeli government's overall conduct in Gaza. So here's the fundamental contradiction... Zionism isn't simply an abstract religious belief in Jewish self-determination. It's a political ideology whose founding objective was to establish a Jewish homeland IN PALESTINE. A land already inhabited by another people, whose slaughter, dispossession, displacement and denial of fundamental rights cannot simply be erased from the conversation. And yet, that's EXACTLY what's happening. Those speaking up for Palestine often say you can't present a genocide as a debate between two equally legitimate sides. But we're not even getting that far. When Jewish self-determination is fiercely defended, while Palestinian statehood is opposed, and the human suffering is discussed without confronting the political responsibility for it, Palestinians themselves are being erased from the very conversation about their future. What does it say about our understanding of racism when the rights and humanity of an entire people can be treated as secondary, or even not at all? The most damning question of all is what this says about our own @UKLabour government. Because whether through fear of being branded antisemitic, political self-preservation, or a calculated move to mask its own complicity in the atrocities being committed, this is a position our government continues to accommodate, defend, and aplify. Rather than unequivocally standing up for Palestinians being killed by the IDF, it continues to embolden its political relationship with the Israeli state. We've reached a point where challenging an inherently racist and dangerous political ideology is treated as more outrageous than the mass killing, dispossession and destruction being carried out in its name. Antisemitism is racism. It must be confronted wherever it exists. But opposition to Zionism is not antisemitic, it's morally and lawfully correct. And no political ideology, state or government should EVER be granted immunity from scrutiny, particularly when the consequences are measured in human lives. @andyburnham @ZackPolanski @jeremycorbyn @corbyn_project #GazaGenocide‌ #FreePalestine

Some politicians are clear where they stand but others are lacking
Today I was denied entry into the West Bank, alongside other parliamentary colleagues from across Europe as part of a @ProgIntl delegation. We were held for 8 hours, interrogated and ultimately prevented from crossing the border. I came to stand alongside Palestinians being attacked for harvesting olives on their own land. Instead, we were turned away, with no reason given. More than ever, Palestinians are being subject to terror and violence by the IDF and illegal settlers. Increased blockades, demolitions and unthinkable violence have become the norm for Palestinians in the West Bank. It is more important now than ever that we bear witness and show our solidarity. But we were prevented from doing so. I will continue to do everything I can to apply pressure on the Netanyahu government, and those responsible for the persecution and genocide of the Palestinian people.

⭕️ Stephen Semler, co-founder of the Security Policy Reform Institute, stated in an interview with American media personality Tucker Carlson that the total U.S. aid provided to Israel has reached $352 billion as of 2025.‼️ ⭕️ He explained that Washington provides $3.3 billion annually through the Foreign Military Financing program to purchase American weapons, noting that Israel enjoys an exception allowing it to spend a portion of these funds on acquiring weapons from Israeli companies.‼️
