For the cinematography of Revenge Of The Sith, George Lucas took a lot of inspiration from classic Renaissance art along with religious imagery and he gave us the most visually gorgeous Star Wars film!
G. Willow Wilson’s Poison Ivy series was awful FROM THE OUTSET and I’ve never heard a single defense of it that showed any prior fandom for the character.
And why would it? Literally the only continuity it follows on is her friendship with Croc that was barely hinted in 1997.
It’s how I knew @HackTheMovies was a complete idiot even before he proclaimed Poison Ivy getting punitively raped by a plant monster for actions she would never commit was a “great Poison Ivy comic.”
(And by the way, the writer of that story literally admitted she was raped.)

The 2000s fucking sucked. Movies sucked, comics sucked, foreign policy sucked. The 2020s are only just now ARGUABLY getting worse.
If I were unfortunate enough to have been an adult in the 2000s, the prequels probably would have been the one thing keeping me sane.

George reusing "Love Pledge and Arena" is no mistake.
Anakin pledges allegiance to palpatine and the temple is his arena to MERC younglings. It's the antithesis of his heroic and romantic actions in Episode II.
