Every Sunday, I do a weekly audit of my time.
I ask myself these questions:
- What gave me energy?
- What took energy away?
- What can I easily eliminate?
- What tasks can be automated?
- Is there anything I can outsource?
How do you review your time spent?
Tips to be a good leader that helped me in the past:
• Be nice
• Be broad, know what is happening, not the tiny details but a high level view and act a accordingly
• If a problem arises, investigate and talk with the ones involved, a lot, don’t leave them alone
• Be empathic
Being a good leader requires experience, training and a lot of empathy.
When driving a team towards a unified goal, each member of your team is a branch you need to merge to your main branch.
Your work as a leader is bring the best outcome possible out of the whole team.
