Xennials. We are Xennials. The end of Gen X and the beginning the Millennials. We are in our 40s and think we are still 20, which is a problem when your back randomly locks up. We can name most songs from the 80s to about 10 yrs ago. We still think the 80s was only 20 yrs ago.

There was a whole generation between gen x and millennial, born from around 80-85, who are different than everyone else.

all I want to say in this ao3 conversation right now is that I love fic writers, and you deserve so much more than fandoms have ever given you. Fanfics are so often the backbone of a healthy fandom and I think it's time we started acknowledging it.

every day i come on here and i see ppl criticising fic writers for using italics or rule of 3s or writing too long sentences or too short sentences so i’m going to open my doc and continue doing all of those
