The country owes a debt to House Speaker Mike Johnson for taking on a nearly impossible job, and the country is the better for his influence.

McDonald’s drive-thru employee to President of the United States in a matter of months.
America is an incredible country. 🇺🇸
Two years ago today, Donald Trump was serving fries through a McDonald's drive-thru window in Pennsylvania. Months later, he was back in the White House.
The October 2024 campaign stop became a viral moment, generating countless memes and reactions as the former president served voters from behind the counter during the final stretch of his campaign.
It was one of several memorable moments from Trump's campaign, from serving up fries at McDonald's to climbing into a garbage truck, with both appearances sparking widespread attention and debate online.
And two years later, people are still talking about it.
Happy Birthday, @usairforce! 🫡🎈🎉
On September 18, 1947, the U.S. Air Force was officially established as an independent military service branch. Today, on its 79th birthday, we extend our sincere gratitude to all Air Force veterans and active service members.
Nothing honors that incredible lineage quite like a Heritage Flight, as seen in this photo from the 2018 Planes of Fame Air Show!

How quickly Pete forgets...
Democrats were all CHEESIN' when they SHUTDOWN the Government for 120 DAYS📸

The call is coming from INSIDE the House.
Democrats willingly and intentionally SHUTDOWN the Government for over 120 DAYS.
They have voted AGAINST every measure and effort to reduce the cost of living and have done NOTHING to advance the cause of the American people.

I can't believe this didn't work
New: Democratic leaders are saying very little about Reps. MGP and Golden voting for a Republicans rule this time.
“I’ll have more to say about the issue when I have more to say about the issue,” Leader Jeffries told me last night.
"Neither gave me the courtesy of letting me know...I think at this point, the most productive thing I can do is say nothing," Rules ranker Jim McGovern -- who was furious about the last rule meltdown -- told me.
Members were much more vocal last time, but staffers and members are still very frustrated with the rogue Democrats.

Twenty-five years ago, America witnessed unimaginable evil in the most devastating terrorist attack ever perpetrated on our soil.
But in our darkest hour, we also saw the best of America — in the courage of our first responders, the strength of our people, and the unity of our nation.
May we always remember. May we always honor. May we Never Forget 9/11. 🇺🇸

One year ago, we tragically lost a fearless patriot. A champion for freedom and for our country.
Charlie Kirk changed the course of American history. His courage, conviction, and love of country will never be forgotten. ❤️
"Well done, good and faithful servant"
America Misses Charlie Kirk

A year has passed since the assassination of Charlie Kirk. I think of him often, and the first thing I remember about him is his sense of fun. He did great things, worked hard, prayed hard, took care of his family while he built a great organization. He loved all of those things, and he did not forget to enjoy them. He was happy.
The nation is poorer without Charlie, and of course his friends miss him acutely. One thing to remember about him is the joy he found in his work, his family, his loves. The problems Charlie spent his life repairing are still with us today. We should emulate the way Charlie went about his work. When a young man, Winston Churchill said once, “What is life for but to struggle in noble causes?” Charlie Kirk reminds us of the same thing. We should be happy about it.

Growing up, I heard my parents and others say they'd never forget where they were when JFK was killed. It did not occur to me that I'd have a similar experience. Then came 9/11, of course. I can recall where I was and what I saw in detail. Today, I'm surrounded by college students who weren't born on 9/11. Will their generation have such a day? I hope & pray not.

One year later, we remember our friend, Charlie Kirk.
We will never forget his life, his legacy, or his immeasurable impact on America.

My staff brought a camera along to record a few excerpts of the lengthy “spiritual heritage tour” of the U.S. Capitol that I enjoy leading a few times each year.
Every American should understand and appreciate that the religious and moral foundations of our country are essential for us to maintain.

Another L for economists. Another forecast MOGGED!
Republicans COOKED expectations. This month’s job growth came in THREE TIMES HIGHER than predicted.
Jobs are growing, opportunity is expanding, and America is WINNING. 🇺🇸
