🚨Dash Cam Footage Leads to Murder Charges in West Palm Beach Shooting William Dunkley, 42, of Loxahatchee, has been charged with first-degree murder with a firearm and attempted armed robbery in the death of 30-year-old Jared Auer. Just before 4 a.m. on June 15, 2025, officers responded to the 1200 block of Old Okeechobee Road after a 911 call about a man passed out in a car. They found Auer in the driver’s seat with a gunshot wound to the head; he was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center and later died. A spent .40 caliber shell casing was recovered on the roadway. Auer’s dash cam showed that at 3:33 a.m. he parked, three men including Dunkley approached and spoke with him, one opened the driver’s door and struggled, and one shot at Auer as he tried to back away.
