If there's one thing nobody could accuse you of, Fred, it's saying what you wish was true in the hope that it will become true.

As the father of two girls I will never forget you saying man with irritated can enter girls and women's spaces. It ended my time as a lifelong labor voter. Thanks to you. And now didn't you dare pretend you're a champion of women and girls. Clearly you never were. Bring onr next election.
The time for talk has long passed. This government is putting its money where its mouth is when it comes to supporting women and girls. We'll back practical action to confine misogyny to the history books - in public services, workplaces, and online. theguardian.com/society/2026…

The electorate aren’t goldfish. Our memories are long enough to recall June 2024, when you declared that trans-identified men with penises should be able to use women’s public bathrooms. It took a Supreme Court ruling to force you to uphold women’s rights, and now you pose as our bold champion? Please.

This arrest was illegal. There is no law in England or Wales that mandates speech. Officers will be punished. Watch.
British police arrive at a teacher’s home for the second time to arrest him for refusing to call a student “they”
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Gardaí at Enoch Burke's family home in Castlebar, Co Mayo, Ireland were enforcing a High Court order jailing him for contempt of court over repeated breaches of a court order, not arresting him over pronouns. These are Irish Gardaí, not British police. rte.ie/news/courts/20… thejournal.ie/gardai-cant-lo…

Doug Ellis died in 2018. She died 7byears prior to that. Who are we speaking to, what about, and why, exactly?
There needs to be a serious investigation into Aston Villa Football Club #AVFC

Oh dear … here’s Precious Andy explaining in 2016 that the free movement of people has destroyed jobs in the UK… He’ll say anything for power. But you must know that by now. It’s just a race to the bottom hey Andy?

How much do I owe, please, Dawn Butler? How much *exactly* - and why. Just be honest, since you're an honest person. Just tell me.
I've received waves of racism & abuse since my #BHM speech. A Shadow Minister referred to my "mates overseas" and told me I should "do one" Who exactly are my mates overseas? 🤔 Today I called out his racially-charged comment. Grateful for Speaker's response 👇🏾

I asked Labour MP Dawn Butler why she's demanding my constituents pay more tax to fund "reparations". She wouldn't answer, but called me a "racist" in the Commons. It's not right to make people pay "reparations" when they've done nothing wrong. Name-calling doesn't change that.

If only the Glazers had some commercial leverage in order to veto such things. Like a majority stake in the business for example. I don't buy this noncense for a second. Ratcliffe's cuts made him the big bad wolf and made the Glazers even more money - so WE KNOW THIS IS BULLSHIT.
🚨 NEW: Sources say that the handling of Manchester United’s job cuts by Sir Jim Ratcliffe did NOT sit well with the Glazers, particularly Joel and Avram. One source says that Ratcliffe’s implementation of the program jarred with Joel’s “sense of decency and old-fashioned values”. #MUFC [@MarkOgden_]

It's 2026 and we still have poverty cameras from Dixons, apparently, AND we can't film things. A disgrace.

The child social media ban can not come soon enough. He spewed with CONFIDENCE, this statement: "...a clear fix: A David Beckham led consortium". Who'd need about six actual billionaires to pull it off, by the way. That's presuming the Glazers and Ratcliffe a) would want to sell and b) wouldn't hold out for silly money, something like eight billion and upwards. What the internet has allowed some people to think what they are is something to be truly hated. My god.
Manchester United’s decline has a clear fix: a David Beckham-led consortium buys out the Glazers. Inter Miami’s transformation proves they can turn a club around. As a United legend, Beckham would restore the bond with the fans that the Glazer ownership has broken.

Journalism is dead. @SkySportsNews have defined "BREAKING NEWS" with ....nothing but conjecture. That's it. A maybe - and a vague maybe at that. This is truly appalling, @Ofcom

It is utterly depressing that Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox are yet again charged with not doing what they've always done - fucking up the appointment of Manchester United's next manager. AND WHO THE FUCK DECIDED Jason Wilcox is the way forward, by the way Who???
