Incredible work from @mazpsychtee and @thinkingblack_ who are championing black voices in academia and beyond! All the essays I marked for the ACT essay prize showed me that the next generation of writers are bold and conscientious. Well done to everyone who took part!

We are delighted to announce we will continue our support of @thinkingblack_ for the next year. We fund the Year 10 Creative Writing Prize, which invites Black British state-school students to discuss & enjoy Black writers, give critical responses and produce original works.
