As a fellow sixth-generation Iowan, I deeply connect with Zach Lahn’s vision.
He sees Iowa’s culture not as something to mourn, but as a living inheritance we must actively defend and revitalize for our kids and grandkids.
Through his Iowa First platform --- healthy kids, strong family farms, excellent education rooted in our values, and real economic opportunity --- he’s fighting to reverse brain drain so future generations can stay and continue our Iowa story.

While almost every Republican congressman who backed amnesty got wiped out Tuesday, #MAHA candidates showed the path forward.
Tennessee State Rep. Michele Reneau overperformed in a brutal environment—holding her seat at 53.7% (+7.4) even as the state saw a massive shift against the GOP. Attacked by the institutional party in her primary, facing a strong Democrat, she still drew split-ticket support from voters who trusted her on health freedom, family, and America First priorities.
Results > rhetoric.
The #2026Elections were not a realignment.
It was a disalignment.
More Americans feel politically homeless. They’re parking their vote with whoever looks most likely to deliver results, not locking into a party.
Millennials, Gen X, and Zoomers are increasingly transactional. Partisan identity is fading. They want results.

Voters who parked with Trump in 2024 walked when results didn’t match the promises—especially on war and the economy.
Democrats ran cleaner campaigns but still don’t understand the transactional, politically homeless electorate. They’ll likely overreach.
That leaves open paths: Trump course-corrects, Vance inherits the job and does it, or a real third option emerges. The next two years decide which. #Midterms2026
Iowa delivered two clear flips on Nov. 3: Rob Sand (D) defeated Zach Lahn for governor (first Democratic governor since 2006) and Josh Turek flipped the open Senate seat.
