My dad
I've shared this before and feel compelled to share it again.
I took care of my dad the last two years of his life until dementia took his life.
He was a terrible man an avowed atheist who did horrible things to his family and my sisters, for which I vowed to ki-l-l him for at the age of 12.
I remember taking him to the VA and the Dr. told me to rub his feet with lotion.
They were indeed cracked and I hate to admit this, but I simply did not want to do it.
I did take good care of my dad, but this seemed too much to ask of me.
Rubbing the lotion into his feet was absolutely repugnant to me.
This awful man who raped my sister, I was angered just thinking about having to do it
I readied dad for bed and I told him I had to put lotion on his feet.
I put my gloves on and started to put the lotion on when he started snickering and said " That's something I would never do for a man, boy."
I froze sitting on the stool, as all sorts of emotions ran through me and I picked anger to vent my emotions.
I got up from the stool, feeling dizzy, walked quietly out of the room and into the master bathroom and shut the door.
I was so angry, not at dad, but at God, who was asking too much of me.
I cried until it hurt, memories coming back, slamming doors, screams from my sisters room, bottles breaking and blood flowing from my mom as dad beat the living life blood out of her. I hit him on the head with my roller skate as hard as I could.
I hollered out to God "It's too much for me God"
"I'm not you Lord!"
I felt a warmth come over me, and I quieted down.
A vision vividly came to me in my minds eye if you will. The Lord, his back to me, was washing the feet of his disciples and the one He was washing now as He was knelt down was Judas Iscariot, the man who embodied evil, just like my dad.
Now I don't know how to say this without sounding like I was losing it, but I'll shoot it to you straight.
I fell off the toilet I was sitting on, to the floor and started crying so hard with joy and peace, praising Jesus
I thought I would burst with joy.
That same hour I was rubbing my dads feet with the lotion, telling him about the Jesus who loved him enough to die for him.
I changed that night, I'm not sure what it meant, but I was blessed to rub my dads feet, just like Jesus did for Judas.
Is 55:12 “For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.”
This is not typically what I post about, but I'm reading on X about so many folks expressing legitimate fear of having their pain medicine (Opiates) taken from them.
I understand, I take them myself, if not, I literally can't walk after a half hour of standing or walking.
The Morphine I take at it's lowest dose Xs 3 a day I can walk 5 miles with my dog keeping me healthy.
No, it doesn't get me high, it lets me live life.
I'm reading about so many folks losing their access to opiates which knocks out pain that other analgesics can't touch.
Read this please: "Opioids (opiates) are often more effective for moderate-to-severe pain because they directly engage the body’s endogenous opioid system at multiple levels in the central nervous system, dampening both the transmission of pain signals and the emotional experience of pain in ways that most other analgesics do not."
So many folks frightened to lose the one thing that will help them to pick up their children and hold them, cook a healthy meal, go to work for 8 hours, even walk briskly for 5 miles, (me).
I just wanted to point out a couple things about how to negotiate with pain management clinics.
First nobody these days is receiving any opioids unless they are bona fide cripples.
So this is for those who have real significant debilitating pain issues.
This is what I have learned.
1. Most Drs. are not the enemy, their paranoia of the various governing medical boards are.
That is those who Lic. them.
2. If you are taking opioids and your Dr. is going to retire soon, you have to get ahead of the curve of being unable to obtain your opioids once you're cut lose from your Dr.
3. Obtain all your medical procedures proving the health issues you have causing enough pain to warrant opioids that you were prescribed for in the first place.
That is very important.
It helps to prevent Drs from making snap judgements, alleviates suspicion of drug shopping and shows you understand your pain issues. Also helps to stop the Dr. from minimizing your pain issues as they see the proof of your claim of pain. X-rays, any scans, so on will help greatly.
4. Research, the Dr. or the pain specialist.
Find out if they treat pain with opioids, they will tell you yes or no, simple.
Move on if no.
If yes, it's still going to be a negotiation when you go to your first appointment.
5. You're at your first appointment with the Dr.
If you get or sound confrontational in the least, you likely won't get what you need.
Be well dressed, super clean, breath mint😉.
Smile and be direct, don't be intimidated, and don't try and act like you're not, just be calm.
6. Let the Dr. talk first, that's important, it shows respect.
7. If you detect the Dr. or pain specialist suggesting anything other than the same treatment plan your former Dr. had you on, including opioids, (by now you should have already handed the treatment plan in to the clinic and the test results in before the appointment), let the Dr. know you were doing well on the treatment plan your Dr. had you on and be polite, say and be direct you want the same plan from him and that's why you sent all needed info. for him to make that decision.
8.If the Dr. or pain specialist still balks at giving you opioids, tell the Dr. you would be willing to consider doing a spinal ablation.
The deal is, they make big money on these treatments, and likely that's what they want do as they don't make money prescribing pills, and might be willing to trade off.
I've done that twice, it works.
9. Once they order your prescription for opioid pain treatment, it will be considered part of your treatment plan and likely won't discontinue it once started.
10. If all else fails negotiate a cut back on your opioid use that's hard to do I know, but it might work, better than nothing.
11. To find a Dr. who does prescribe opiates in your area ask grok.
I did and found one. Older folks are not as likely to get turned down for opiates as the younger crowed.
All the above has worked for me and never have I been denied, had to negotiate though.
But, never say never.
Think about what this woman of God revealed from the Holy Spirit.
Amazing!

That is a beautiful testimony to quit waiting to do good works until you feel it or God has healed you from your wounds. But to do good and God will heal you through your good works! Thanks for sharing your costly faithfulness to our Lord & Savior!
So, many folks responded to a post I made yesterday.
Wish I could answer all of them.
One thing is certain, we love our families and God has put each of us in a family, to love, forgive, and to sacrifice for.
Ps. 68:6 kjb: “God setteth the solitary in families…”
I watched as my dad slip away for two years until his end, from dementia, he was 92.
Dad was a cruel and hateful "Atheist" of a man, who heaped some terrible things upon his family and my sisters, of which I vowed at 12 to ki-ll him.
He stayed with us those last two years of his life.
Wheeling around the house, making demands and leering at my wife, which I put a stop to.
It was exhausting.
I watched as he started forgetting names and even where he was at.
One time he thought my family was a different family masquerading as mine.
Those two years, I read the bible nightly, mostly Psalms
and explained God's love for us and His hatred of sin.
I talked to dad one night recounting what he had done to my one sister and some of the other terrible things he had done.
I did that, as he was never told he was a sinner and it needed to be told.
I did actually tell him the gospel message and the sin of mankind because he came to me one day and asked me what changed me after I got saved.
Dad was genuinely curious.
The last two weeks of his life he started seeing things that he would reach out for.
Strangely, dad was still coherent and we would talk, though his voice sounded like he was coming from a different dimension or was in a tunnel.
One night I came to make sure dad was comfortable and to add some glycerin to his dried lips as he was taking in little water, and had stopped eating.
When dad exclaimed loudly "I'm so sorry for the bad things I've done."
I barely breathed and thought what is this?
I decided after some brief silent prayer, to share the gospel yet again with a man who never apologized in his life.
I asked dad do you want Jesus to forgive you of your sin?
Do you believe now as you lay dying, Jesus is truly the Son of God.
He said yes.
I led him in prayer and we talked some more and I left the room.
The following day as I entered His room he spoke first telling me "Jesus was the truth, He spoke truth."
Two days later dad passed on into the hands of Jesus.
I remember I cried like never before at the salvation of my dad, and the wonder of the salvation process.
I remembered the story of King Nebuchadnezzar and how in his insanity gave praise to God and God restored him to his former place.
My point?
Never give up praying for anyone for any reason.
God's grace extends to everyone.
Titus 2:11 “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people.

Happy Friday to all who see this! If no one else does, I guess I can just say happy Friday to me. I haven’t seen a lot of action on my posts here lately, but I know at least a few of my friends still see me here, so I keep showing up and posting. If my posts put a smile on only one readers face, than it was worth my time to share my thoughts. Thanks for being here! Have a wonderful weekend. 😁

📦Mail’s here and today it brought me a free electric butter maker to test out and review. It has a Large 32oz jar: only takes 5-10 minutes. I’ll pick up some heavy cream tomorrow and check it out. Might make biscuits with buttermilk from it. Read more about it here walmrt.us/47NFnQ1

I would like the opinion of my practicing Christians sisters and brothers.
Just hear me out, this is real.
About 3 weeks back I asked the pastor if he could just touch on relevant biblical end times prophecy.
His answer was to smirk first, then told me "they don't teach prophecy because the bible isn't real clear on the topic."
I was floored at how little he knew about the topic, as we talked.
Literally next to nothing not even the basics.
I felt embarrassed for him, I truly did.
Forward 3 weeks and last Sunday he said this as well as I can remember.
" People should study about the Lord and not go off watching videos about end times and reading the newspaper more than the bible."
He shredded the believers looking for the promise coming, and he disregarded at least 25% of God's Word.
I could not let that go and I confronted him respectfully
saying. " I was surprised to hear you talk in such a manner as to demean those who look for the coming of the Lord."
His response was to say "sorry" and he had not meant to do that.
Hard to believe that.
I told him he is disregarding 25% of God's Word and we are told to preach the whole consul of his Word.
I was respectful but direct.
Now I feel compelled to write the man a letter of encouragement and show him step by step why it is important for the believers to understand the times they are in.
Basically, to show him the importance of eschatology.
I feel bad for the assembly of believers who know nothing about what's coming their way, and they can have hope in these times.
The study of end times is much more than just prophecy.
The rapture.
It involves The return of Christ (Second Coming) — Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Revelation 19
Resurrection of the dead — 1 Corinthians 15; John 5:28–29
Final judgment — Matthew 25:31–46; Revelation 20:11–15
New heavens and new earth — Revelation 21–22; 2 Peter 3:13
The present and future kingdom of God.
And so much more.
What say you should I write the letter or not?
If you like a post take it one step further and make friends.
What's to prevent Christians from friending each other.
IMO we should.
This is called butcher block.
My buddy did it at a reduced price as well as the tile.
I’m blessed having him as a lic. Contractor.
I've been saying this and others as well; stock at least beans, rice, canned goods, and water.
Pet food as well.
I'm stocking as I can, the medicine I absolutely need.
I just pay out of pocket.
I'm wondering if the Ezekiel war coming or is it the Ps. 83 war, which I believe, but not adamant about has already happened?

We could use all the prayers for our baby girl ❤️ thank you so much in advance
The size, the noted 3 tiers, the stalls, the dimensions, and the area she lies, sure point to this being the Ark.
At first it takes proof to begin thinking this might be the Ark.
As the odds line up in favor of this being the Ark, now it takes proof it isn't.
BREAKING: Wood sent for lab testing from Noah’s Ark Durupinar Site.
We’re excited to finally share this official update from the lead archeological professor Dr. Cenker Atila:
Multiple pieces of wood have been recovered from the Noah’s Ark Durupinar Site and are now in the lab for carbon-14 dating.
The wood is damaged and charred. This could be from an attempt to set fire to the ark at some point in history, or from volcanic activity in the area long ago.
While the depth at which it was recovered indicates it is very old, Dr. Cenker is clear: this is not proof that it is Noah’s Ark until the carbon-14 results are in.
One interesting note: charred wood decomposes far more slowly than uncharred wood, especially when buried in soil.
Wood has officially entered the conversation.
More details and images coming in the days ahead. Stay tuned.
Help us cover costs for lab testing. All donations are tax deductible: NoahsArkScans.com/donate
Oh, I love cornbread!
I made some yesterday to go with our ribs, it wasn't homemade, but it was sooo good.
Lima beans with butter and lots of it!
The pastor of the assembly of believers I attend literally mocked those who studied eschatology.
Saying they read the newspaper more than they do the Word of God.
Anger welled up inside me.
3 weeks ago the pastor said "The church doesn't teach eschatology because the bible isn't clear on the subject."
I asked him privately if maybe some time he could touch on the "Latter days?"
Church ended and I asked to talk with him in private.
I told the pastor I couldn't understand why he would belittle a subject that many Christians hold dear.
I told him 25% of God's Word is prophetic and meant to give us hope in these uncertain times.
He apologized and said it came out wrong.
I was respectful, but couldn't let that bird fly.
Church was so weird today.
A lady sitting next to me was chewing on ice and shaking the cup for 15 minutes.
It was loud and she or her husband could care less.
Oh well, my hope is in the appearing of The Christ and my family and friends being taken home.
If you can't remember what you read in your devotion time with the Lord at the end of the day, maybe a more concerted effort with the cerebellum needs to be utilized.
I'm being silly but it is a thought.
I found her standing in front of my house.
She was kept in a very small yard with pigs, goats, fowl, that was slaughtered for food. I offered to buy her and was told to go away.
I honestly thought to steal her.
I took her in and examined her and her eyes were a total mess.
Her eyelashes were turned in and scraping her eyes.
Took her to the vets and got her all fixed up. Her eyes will always be an issue.
For a year she never met your eyes.
I love her so much she looks in my eyes now and Ulga is well loved withe other rescues on an acre in the middle of the city.
Her eyes will always be weepy but that’s what I’m here for. They looky weepy in the pic. But I wipe them with room temperature water.
Isn’t it she beautiful?
My tool room is dusty🥴
