I genuinely think music criticism on this app has gotten so lazy, mean-spirited, and repetitive. And no, you don’t have to like everything an artist releases. I certainly don’t. But there’s a difference between criticizing someone’s music and making them the punching bag of the week. I wish some of y’all loved discussing music as much as you love dragging the people making it.

industry connections are a plus but so are your networking skills as an individual … most good managers won’t even consider hopping on board unless the load is shared amongst everyone . it needs to be a partnership

you go for someone who has all the connections too early and you risk being labeled an industry plant , especially if it works out . on the other end , the payoff from a well executed vision is way higher . stronger relationships , bigger bag (sometimes lol)

One thing I’ll give stixx neh He chose the right guy to manage him 😮‍💨🙏🏾 Benzo is such a visionary and also the team that told him the “am dropping” formula doesn’t sustain the international and provincial market everything is done with intent and not just “music but themed!!!!

The music business is a very cutthroat industry that requires a crazy amount of resilience. Most keyboard warriors who sit and tell artists what to do all day wouldn’t even survive a day doing this work.
