Another thing: it's officially time to stop this narrative that Taylor Swift is being "shoved down our throats." Key media have clearly operated with an anti-Taylor bias this year, openly rebelling against this alleged "overexposure" with pathetic, cartoonishly bad reviews and omissions.
At this point, she's being supported by organic audiences - not the system. And so while she obviously can't realistically be called an underdog, she's definitely more of a "people's champion" than media and Twitter would have you believe.
That's mother
๐ | @Billboard weighs in on the viral discussion about Taylor Swiftโs placement on the Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century list:
โThe statistical heights [Swift has] reached are ones neither Bey nor any other artist this century can equal. (โฆ) There is zero question about who the biggest pop star in the world is right now, and anyone who wanted to make the case for her as the centuryโs greatest would have a fair and reasonable argument with which to do so.โ

Rolling stones ranking her album at #23 after saying it's an instant classic and will likely win aoty and NME did not put any song of hers in their list of the best songs of 2024.. Something is fishy because no way people really think TTPD is a bad album like let's bffr??
