.@BeckyLynchWWE’s instant reaction to winning the women's Royal Rumble match. espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-4…
It’s been a wild few weeks (for me, and in general), but I wanted to announce some personal news. My time with Card Player has come to a close. I’d like to thank Julio and Erik for the privilege, and getting to work with two poker friends of such a long time has been a privilege.
I have a few different irons in the fire for the future, but my DMs are open for discussing opportunities moving forward. ❤️
No matter how much changes, Nevada still gonna Nevada.
Still waiting for Nevada results? Voters who were in line by 7 p.m. are still casting their ballots. Results cannot be released until the last voter has finished voting statewide. Thank you for your patience as every voter in line has their turn. Follow RESULTS.NV.gov.
Of all the people to go after in this space… it’s been a long time since I touched gambling content as an editor during my early days at ESPN, but David’s work has long spoken for itself.
Today was fun.

I had the privilege of chatting with @jeremyausmus about his adventures in vlogging, and giving poker fans a peek behind the high stakes curtain.
One of my favorite all time ESPN days was when New Day visited Bristol. Their collective joy radiated through anyone who even briefly passed through their orbit. Wish I still had the video of Big E, Kofi and Woods playing Mad Libs in a windowless back office, rattling the walls with their laughter.

Cool article @CardPlayerMedia just published on my @RGPokerSeries St. Louis results!
Also wanted to note few people were commenting asking how many buyins/rebuys I had…so…
@PokerNews Power Stack: 1 entry
$500 PLO : 2 entries
Turbo: 1 entry
😀
Nicholas Rigby aka @GTO_Diaper claimed three @RGPokerSeries titles in just two calendar days at Hollywood Casino St. Louis

One of the great privileges of my career was getting to cover the ascendence of DIY, and the entirety of the NXT ‘Black and Gold’ era.
@CiampaWWE and @JohnnyGargano were among the first interviews I got to do at a WWE live event, video that’s sadly been lost to time.
Their matches against DIY in Brooklyn and Toronto remain among the best I’ve ever seen.
I can’t wait to see what comes next for Tommaso.
This story is from November 2016, shortly after NXT TakeOver: Toronto. What a ride.

Shout out to @dwpoker. Whenever I’m in a food rut, his Vegas restaurant recommendations list never misses.

Still remember playing 1-2 no limit at @TurningStone casino. Sometimes driving 35 min to play with $60 in my pocket. A lot of the time I’d leave with no money, but I would always pick up my free @CardPlayerMedia magazine on the way out. Total full circle moment for me. It really wasn’t long ago at all but feels like a lifetime ago. Really well written article from @tim00
Our top finisher in the Card Player 2025 Player of the Year race is @JesseLonis who finished with a commanding 10,807 points, 8 titles, 27 final tables, and 11.6 million in earnings!
Take a look at our article covering the amazing year Jesse had in 2025 linked below!

Last time I manifested something like this, the Mets made their magical 2024 postseason run. Laying down a gauntlet for David Stearns, Mets management and @StevenACohen2.
If the Mets add two 2025 All-Stars to the roster by Opening Day 2026, my hair will once again be blue.
This Mets offseason is so bad that they’re unifying people from both sides of the political spectrum in a way that no one else can.
