The first calls on a show aren’t random. Stunt coordinators build their lists between projects. Filmik is where those lists live. filmik.io
The magic's in the prep. Every choice you make before you get here shows up right here on the day.

The best coordinators I know spend less time managing paperwork and more time on the actual creative work — that's what we love to do.
Build the action, trust the team, show up prepared.
The tools I use changed how I operate on set. That's why I use Filmik.

Opus 4.6 is behaving extremely erratically lately
especially today
lots of very silly mistakes
my theory:
Anthropic was seeing unsustainable levels of usage for 4.5 because of Clawd
if they ban Clawd usage = bad; they position themselves as the bad guys + kill their main use case right now + kill all virality
> what_do_we_do.jpg
either route Opus to dumber models behind the scenes
or the Opus 4.6 release was actually just a new Sonnet but they branded it as an Opus upgrade so ppl are happy but it's in fact a regression
either way gives them enough server leeway to keep operating comfortably but the result is always the Opus model is retarded

Impact Initiative youtu.be/M4d9gqTxcNY?si=RwGn… via @YouTube
Congrats, Impact Initiative! This was SO fun to watch. Hymson Chan, your leadership as team captain really showed, and bringing out performers like Corey DeMyers, Cate Boyer and John Hennigan (WWE!) to perform at such a high level - your whole entire team brought it. It was just a bunch of pros having a great time and putting on a show, and that energy is infectious. And the nostalgia you guys captured? Man, I felt like I was transported back to the '80s. It was so fun and cool. The action, the way you shot it, the story you told from beginning to end, you guys really delivered something special. This is such a fun previz, and when you think about what you accomplished in just 6 hours of shooting? That's a LOT to pull off. Tremendous job. Well done and thank you for coming to play!
03 Any Other Ideas youtu.be/MNuKY--d2MM?si=306g… via @YouTube
Any Other Ideas absolutely knocked this one out of the park. They checked every single box. The action was fun, it fit the characters and the story perfectly, and their interpretation? Super fun and interesting. The way they creatively built in other video game IPs was such a smart choice, it added layers without feeling forced or taking you out of the moment. But what really stood out to me was their action design technique itself. The way they shot the action, the camera choices, the types of cameras they used, they were incredibly innovative compared to the other teams. You can see they really thought about HOW to tell the action story visually, not just WHAT action to show. That's next-level thinking. And the performances? The subtle humor throughout? Chef's kiss. Everything worked. This was a blast to watch. You guys brought something really special to this competition. Great work, team.
Stunt Design Showdown 2025 Sizzle youtu.be/6byadk8LEhE?si=nPJe… via @YouTube
I'm incredibly proud of what we pulled off with the 2025 Stunt Design Showdown.
When we first launched this event in 2023, it was during the strike, just a way to bring the community together and give people something to do, something to create. The response was overwhelming, and we knew we had to bring it back. This year, I think we leveled up in every single area.
Watching some of the top action design professionals in the industry step up to this challenge was incredible. And make no mistake, this is a TOUGH challenge. You get a script, you have 24 hours to break it down and find something unique you can put your stamp on, 6 hours to shoot at 87North, and then a brutal post-production window to deliver something polished. You're trying to set yourself apart from nine other elite teams, all working under the same constraints, all attacking the same script.
And the creativity that spawns from that pressure? It's unreal. It's exciting to watch. It's inspiring to see what happens when you challenge yourself like this.
I like to think of it like pro basketball players coming out for a weekend scrimmage with each other - it's competitive, it's fun, it's community-building, and it's a platform where action design professionals can really shine and show what they're capable of when the clock is ticking and the stakes are real.
This year, we had it all. Returning talent. New faces. Diamonds in the rough. Surprises that blew us away. The energy at 87North was electric, and I'm grateful to them and Narrator for helping bring this together and supporting what we're building.
But here's what matters most: I genuinely believe this platform got important eyeballs on these teams. The right people are watching - coordinators, directors, producers, and I think some careers are actually going to change because of this. That's the whole point. That's why we do it.
So thank you. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported this. Thank you to the competitors who stepped up and brought everything they had. You're what made this event what it is.
We can't wait to do it again.
- Tim

I love this previz! It's crazy the amount of creativity that went into this as both a storytelling piece AND an action showcase. There's a flow here that just captivates you and draws you deeper into the story, and that's exactly what we try to do as action designers: find that perfect blend of action, story, and character that never asks you out of the moment but instead pulls you in further and further. This competition is the ultimate platform for action designers to prove they can deliver under real-world pressure, and Code 10-10 absolutely delivered. The fact that you pulled this off in 54 hours - with travel, prep, shoot, and post - is incredible. Thank you, Code 10-10! This is what it's all about. 📷
