I just re-tweeted this to confuse people more...
I've never met @timomalleyND from IrishIllustrated.com. But we share a dry cleaner, a parish, and we're regularly confused for one another relative to our jobs.
We got to meet for the first time and talk about Notre Dame football, our parish, and how to approach ND football in a properly ordered way:

Mike is correct, we covered him together in SB. Also, I'm a lifelong 49ers fan, so Mike is kind of a jerk here, but still accurate.
I covered Quenton Nelson at Notre Dame. He was the most physically overwhelming athlete I’d ever covered, and that’s before the eight straight Pro Bowls.
A running back blockbuster would be a bigger headline. But Nelson is exactly who the Seahawks need: seattletimes.com/sports/seah…

It was fine. I’ve never been treated better at more than 50 schools. Keeler, Lynde, Mark & Ryan were & always are pro’s pros. I look forward to every opportunity to visit @Utah_Football:
I would personally like to invite each of you to join the Irish Illustrated Insider pregame party, 12:30 ET, this week. But your admission to this event—the second best shindig of the weekend to be sure— is contingent upon a podcast question submitted below that I find either entertaining, curious, thought-provoking, or all of the above.
Coveted Question #9 is available to the Twitterati on today's Irish Illustrated Insider Podcast. As the Reebok Blacktop Ad of 1993 once mused "You come Strong, or You Don't Come at All."

Trevon Diggs was talking trash to Mike Evans so he grabbed him to look at the back of his jersey to see who he was lmaoo
I’M CRYING 😂😂😂
Great stuff by Drew on a Tier 1 ND defender and playmaker to date
Luke Talich wasn't a starter at the start of the season, but by now, everyone expects him to be an impact player.
The person who knew it first was Luke. He took a risk walking on at Notre Dame, which is "one of the greatest decisions" he ever made.

Injuries, OL, WR, TE, RB, Talich, Pass D, and UNC game takeaways--oh yeah, and the third-down play call x6,534 are already covered. Dazzle me with a varied question to add to today’s Irish Illustrated Insider

This is astonishing on @AggieFootball:
If Texas A&M had never fired Kevin Sumlin and they continued giving him $2 million raises every 4 years and he kept his 66.2% win percentage, the Aggies today would have saved $102 million and had two more wins 👀

There was always something a little heartwarming about the gentle way Mike Ditka imparted life wisdom to his players ...

Brock Purdy says NFL quarterbacks can’t actually see where they’re throwing nearly 40% of the time, and explains why processing information is more important than having a strong arm
"My quarterback coach, Brian Griese, the last couple years, he and I talked about that. He played 11 years, his dad’s Bob Griese. But we got talking about how really it’s 60/40. You can see about 60% of the time, and the other 40% you really can’t. I mean, it doesn’t matter how big you are."
"He goes, that’s why it’s so important when it comes down to knowing coverages, knowing scheme, where our players are supposed to be, how many steps they’re breaking, and where the ball should be over a certain backer. All those things, man, it matters."
"And that’s why guys, you know, if you go to a combine and all those things, you’re just throwing on air, and yeah, you look all good with a strong arm and fast, jumping, all that stuff. But when it comes down to 11-on-11 and you got guys that are a foot taller and you can’t see, it comes down to the processing."
"Like before the play, I know that this safety is probably going to rotate down. It’s going to be one high, and I got one hitch, no more than that, to rip it where Deebo’s supposed to be, like just inside the hash. And there’s a backer that’s also got a 40-inch vert that I got to put it over. That’s what’s crazy, all those things when you’re fitting it in over the backer and underneath the deep safety."
The Irish Illustrated Insider podcast outline is nearly complete, but we need a fitting question for #9 ("NINE TIMES"). Please submit for approval below...

Week 1 isn't over just yet, but on Sunday Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price will meet as pros for the first time.
Earlier today, Price was asked about the match-up.
“It’ll be special. We even talked about it, how we want to maybe swap jerseys or something if we can. It’ll be a very special moment, and I know that a lot of Notre Dame fans and Notre Dame people are looking forward to that moment.”
