Australia doesn't have a gas shortage problem.
We have a gas export problem.
And it gets worse. Australia Institute research shows gas exports have tripled gas prices and doubled electricity prices on the east coast.

One of the small robots released from Japan's SLIM lunar lander captured this view, just released by JAXA, of the spacecraft nose down on the Moon's surface last week. This orientation presumably explains why it couldn't recharge its battery.
Not ideal, but Japan is on the Moon.
