So thankful for the last three days at the Charles Simeon Trust Preaching Workshop! It was a challenging, stretching, and encouraging time of growing in faithfully handling God’s Word. I highly recommend attending a workshop in your area or online!

Yesterday, we celebrated our church’s ninth anniversary. What a blessing to see a full house and to baptize a young man.
Eight years ago, I had the privilege of baptizing his parents in our backyard.
To God be the glory for what He has done and what He continues to do!
It was 25 years ago today. I was a freshman in college, and I’ll never forget returning to my dorm room and hearing the tragic news that our nation had been attacked.
Today, I’m praying for the families of those who lost their lives and for our nation.
So thankful for the day the Lord gave us yesterday in church! Baptisms, Growth Groups launch, the Word was preached. To God be glory!
66 books. 1,189 chapters. 31,102 verses.
Yet every year churches do the “At the Movies” series built around Hollywood movies and entertainment.
The church doesn’t need Hollywood to make the Gospel relevant.
Enough gimmicks.
Stop the circus. Preach the Word.
2 Timothy 4:2
Abominable. Wicked. Heartbreaking.
Every human being is created in the image of God. Every child in the womb is a life that must be protected and valued.
A blue state just legalized abortion up until birth.
Surrounded by applauding women, Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey signed a sweeping abortion bill Monday that removes the state’s gestational age limit, giving health care providers greater discretion to perform abortions later in pregnancy.
The law replaces the state’s previous general restriction on abortions after 24 weeks, with limited exceptions, and is set to take effect in 90 days.
Massachusetts becomes the 10th state to remove gestational age limits on abortion, according to the report.

Thankful for a wonderful week of VBS at Hillview! So grateful for every volunteer who gave their time and energy to serve our church and community. God’s Word was faithfully taught each night, and children were pointed to the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ.
I’ve been reading Lectures to My Students by Charles Spurgeon. This quote is a great reminder that a minister’s first calling is not to a ministry, but to holiness.
Thankful for all God did during our Family Weekend Refresher with Pastor Ray McCormick! Marriages and families were strengthened, souls were saved, and believers were baptized. Thank you, Hillview Baptist Church, for serving and participating. To God be the glory!
Thanking the Lord for the privilege to baptize these four individuals this past Sunday. The stories behind every life is a reminder of the power of the gospel. The lady is our neighbor that my wife led to Christ recently🙌
Five years ago we drafted Trey Lance and I was absolutely convinced the dynasty had begun.
Just a reminder… none of us have any idea what we’re talking about. 😂 #NFLdraft #ninernation
Tough loss last night for the Warriors, but it was a good time with these boys. They got some autographs, and Porzingis gave Lawson his arm sleeve so it softened the blow…a little.
It’s been a fun 10 year ride for #dubnation fans.
Lawson had his 6 month neurologist follow up today and everything looks great. No concerns.
We stopped by the PICU to thank the team who cared for him and brought some coffee. God used Dr. Ryan to help save our son’s life that night.
So grateful for answered prayer!
“The fear of man bringeth a snare…” Proverbs 29:25
When our fear of God is minimized, the fear of man grows.
But when we walk in holy reverence of God, we are set free from approval, pressure, and fear of others. It is a right view of God that produces a fearless life.
Our hearts are full tonight as we look back on the day celebrating our Lord’s resurrection. Full services, souls saved, people baptized, and the Word preached. To God be the glory!
Preaching the resurrection account from Luke 24 this morning. Praying for men as they declare God’s Word this morning!
He is risen!
“And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.”
Looking forward to celebrating our Lord’s resurrection today.
