Hi there the same thing happened to me and my channels.
Some fake gmail address put fake copyright strikes gainst my channels and I struggled for 3 Months already to get any reaction from YouTube.
I got to some person on Instagram but it will cost me about 5000 Rand.

A copyright claim just means YT recognizes something in the video is owned by someone else. YT doesn't actually file for strikes. It has to be someone who reported it and the owner taking action. I have a few copyright claims on videos, too. Not sure how long I'll have them up.

Do you mean 3 copyright strikes? Because I have tons of claims. I've never got a strike. Well hopefully you guys can get it fixed. I'm sure @YouTube will work with you. If anything, hopefully you guys backed up your videos or youtube will let you at least download your videos.馃槩
