I used to stress over fitting the "traditional" vtuber mold and keeping the die hard fans happy.
The harsh reality is that you won’t please everyone anyway. You may as well make content you genuinely love and feel comfortable creating. For me, that means a hybrid approach of 2.5D! I show my face, but I also love piloting a cute anime woman avatar!
Everyone is always saying the vtubing community is “over saturated” these days, right? If someone’s methods aren’t your vibe, there are thousands of other creators to watch.
Be kind, let people innovate, and let creators enjoy their own methods of creation. 🤍
