It's that time of the year where a lot of indie hackers and domainers register [insert brand name, this time *JEV*] based domains, only to drop them in a year when they figure out they violate trademarks
Decided to upgrade from iPhone 12 to the new one. Today,@Apple started to prepare me for the switch because it knows that my new phone arrives tomorrow. That ist customer experience at its best!
Meta launched Muse Spark 1.1 and their product demo is ... interesting. 3 observations 👇
The Agent decided to:
- not ask for budget constraints,
- choose a provider based on availability - not budget or any other parameter - this was also nicely staged by having 2 of 3 fake providers not being available...
- share internal group information unnecessarily to the outside provider ("room mate not coming") instead of condensing the information directly - but this is likely due to meta's overall handling of data privacy 🤣
Overall it seemed like an over-ambitious first time assistant who has no experience with the nuances of the job and does only the obvious.
Tried to setup @Azure Foundry for @OpenAI data residency in West Germany.
Recap after 1 hour: This is the WORST dev experience like ever. WTF is deployment type (I selected Germany for a reason), what is quota and why does it not exist? I added a credit card - THAT IS MY QUOTA. Oh, and not a SINGLE OpenAI model (except text-embedding-3-large) is selectable. Apparently, there is "some quota" for GPT-4-Turbo (hello 2023!!) but the model is not even in the model selector...
And the best thing? How much model quota you have, the model's description, and the model's pricing are at 3 different locations.
Oh, and, yes, you are able to "Request Quota" but it is just a long form where you have to enter ALL your account data again and even add a justification, and then maybe get a reply at some point?
So, basically, a customer needing data residency in Germany will need to write a support ticket as their first task after account creation. Nice CX..
I am quitting the process and will try out @MistralAI for this project
Building HeyQ - a product management tool for vibe coders.
Coding is not a problem anymore.
But with product management means you actually ship something valuable.
heyq.com
I vibe code multiple projects at the same time.
Coding is not a problem at anymore.
But product management? Catastrophe!
That's why I've built HeyQ.com - a product management tool for us vibe coders to manage all of our projects! 🧵
Switch from Cursor to Claude? No problem.
Cannot recall the v1.1 from the AI chat 2 weeks ago? No problem.
Don't know who your target group is? No problem.
Need to collect customer feedback? No problem.
Best thing? HeyQ works through MCP with any AI IDE (@cursor_ai , @claudeai) or Ai builder (@Lovable , @v0 ). Keep your current coding tech stack but add a AI-native product management stack on top.
GM. Anyone tipps for a newly established company account on X? Like, how to gain initial traction? Account is verified
