Idk how you expect people to recommend crypto when their first experience here was getting fucked over by someone they trusted. Imagine helping a friend set up a wallet, introducing them to a project and watching people you vouched for dump on them at the first opportunity. You'll think twice before doing that again, and so will they. That's the first step of losing people who've stuck around for years. Very few ask what they could contribute that would make those people want to stay. Honestly, I'd love to see more support going towards teams that are established and are actually doing something for their community. There's many right now you can name from the top of your head. Stop asking where the new users are, start by giving the ones who do show up a fucking reason to stay.
