Writing from an AAU tryout? That kind of day 😅
Just shy of 100 players spent Sunday in Ithaca for a @TeamNEHoops/@XGenElite tryout date, and it became one of the more productive eval settings I’ve been at this year - enough that a post came from it.
Thoughts on some players that made the most of their day… HERE (subscriber stuff) ⬇️

I’ve been here more times in 2026 than all of 1991-2025 😂 thank Matt Oswalt & crew for that. A primary home for @TeamNEHoops/@XGenElite/@syracuseroyals activities in recent years, including today, where nearly 100 players came through the doors for one of their three tryout dates.
Some standout & breakout showings… pretty clear who’s been working 💭 appreciate the opportunity to stop in & watch today!
How do you possibly make that throw if you are Darnold? Even if you punt it, they almost assuredly get it back with how anemic Denver had been. Some of the worst quarterbacking you will see, on both sides. – at Blasdell, NY
Yet another example of the fact that the "all important" top 100, top 50, etc player rankings mean nothing the second you step foot on a college campus. – at Blasdell, NY
“She’s probably one of the hardest working players I’ve ever had.”
@KentuckyWBB head coach Kenny Brooks speaks to @ClaraStrack dedication and work ethic.

Always just a comedy of errors with this team. Last week didn't run it enough, maybe that's why. Now take it out of Allen's hands when he has been cooking for the past 2 hours. – at Blasdell, NY
This league is such a poor product. The inconsistencies, both in officiating and quality of play are brutal. – at Blasdell, NY
Going out on a limb and will say those two trips deep into Rams territory just might come back to haunt them. – at Blasdell, NY

But but but they do it for the kids!!! You can’t finish with your weak hand, but that’s OK. Our camera guy will only take videos of you finishing with your strong hand…

Against a team without their top TWO defensive players and this is the plan. These guys haven't a clue. Possibly your top two weapons in Cook and Kincaid get woefully under-utilized. Pathetic stuff. – at Blasdell, NY
12 carries for Cook is CRIMINAL...what a brutal game plan. Might as well bring back McD at rhis point. – at Blasdell, NY
What an unlikeable team...unnecessarily cocky head coach, qb now makes boneheaded plays on the regular and the worst secondary in the league. – at Blasdell, NY
