This is too real. Though, I feel Anderson should be playing as an 8 because he can offer good passes into the final third. Bouaddi should be playing as the 6. With this, we’ll be able to retain control of the midfield.
I just watched the extended highlights of our games this season, and I can tell you for a fact that the first sign that we are not a properly structured team under Maresca is Anderson.
This man is supposed to be our Rodri replacement, but he spends every game running around the pitch trying to hold our disjointed midfield together.
I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again: Manchester City are just one Anderson injury away from fighting for a top-five finish at the end of the season
