If you hit the ball good on the range but not on the course, it might be this... ALIGNMENT Most golfers have an issue where the line up & aim too far right of their intended target You now have 2 options to ensure you hit the ball at your target 1. Hook the ball back towards target 2. Pull the ball towards target When you're on the range with alignment sticks down & on a square mat, you never learn how to align yourself correctly Take away the sticks, aim at targets that are on the left of the range & the right of the range & go through a full routine selecting an intermediate target about 1ft in front of the ball That will help you swing it better on the course by default. Poor alignment creates swing errors without the swing being the problem

Low handicap golfers don't need the extensive coaching that high handicappers do... However the higher handicap golfer is far more reluctant to get coaching vs the low handicap golfer... I've been talking to a lot of recreational golfers on IG lately & it's always the high handicaps really not that keen on coaching to improve their game... yet they are the ones that need it MUCH MORE than a low handicap golfer Perhaps that attitude & thought process is what keeps them as high handicaps? I would say I'm pretty experienced now after 10yrs of coaching & delivering over 20,000 lessons between in person & online coaching. I can comfortably say that only a handful of golfers told me what their issues were & they were actually correct... Most golfers tell me their issues but I see 5 things they need to work on that are CAUSING that issue. That's what golfers aren't aware of, & they just spend weeks, months, & years trying to fix it & most never do This game is so complex, if there's any game I think you need help with through coaching, it's golf.
