under promise. over deliver.
They undersold this, it feels rather magical. I entered a toothpaste website and had 2 ai agents having a podcast convo on “ if they are really telling the tooth 🦷 “ Worth trying it out.

Thanks for highlighting our work, @NewsFromGoogle! There's more where that came from. Stay tuned!
Gemini 4 Argon is already helping researchers unlock new scientific breakthroughs across fusion, biology, and quantum computing: ⚛️ In nuclear fusion, Argon helped discover a broader class of counterexamples to Grad's conjecture — a nearly 60-year-old assumption in plasma physics — creating new benchmarks for stellarator 3D magnetic fields. 🧬 In biology, it designed five novel, lab-verified serine esterases in a matter of hours — enzyme engineering that would previously have taken months. This work demonstrates the potential for rapid acceleration in fields such as biomanufacturing, green chemistry, and drug development. 🩺 In rare disease research, scientists at @GamowLabs used Argon to analyze de-identified genomes from newborns with rare developmental lung disorders — pinpointing a chromosomal rearrangement that routine software missed for years, and explaining why it went undetected. 🧮 In quantum computing, Argon translated our AlphaQubit error-correction decoder into a single optimized hardware kernel — nearly doubling inference throughput — and cut spacetime costs for a key quantum subroutine by more than 100x.

Pretty sure Mass Effect Universe will be the first AAA game made by AI.
A BioWare dev on reddit leaked a Mass Effect 5 trailer... it's called MASS EFFECT UNIVERSE and it's fucking gorgeous. I'm crying. This is everything I wanted. They were a lot farther than we thought. FUCK EA

In July we open-sourced a dynamic graph of everything a child learns in primary school. 1,590 concepts, 3,221 dependencies. Now we’re turning every concept into interactive experiments kids can play and learn from. First one, age 7: heat and water. Everything that used to be a boring textbook can now be an engaging experience, potentially tailored to every child. Kids education just got a massive upgrade.

Sorry we even made you consider Astra for a few weeks. Won't happen again.
Astra dethroned Gemini 4 Argon is the best "vision" model #1 for detection: - tight, precise boxes - dense scenes #1 for text extraction: - small text - handwritten text - complex tables - rotated text 4× cheaper than Astra at high

Big G is back! 🙇 @GoogleDeepMind Gemini 4 takes the 👑 on @GamowLabs RareBench and LabBench by a healthy margin over previous champ Opus 5.5. A tip of the hat to @melvinjohnsonp, @taotu831, @divy93t, and the rest of the science team for this very strong release. We've moved essentially all of our biology and genomics research work to Gemini 4 in agy with science skills since joining the EAP program and look forward to seeing if this model can help diagnose some new kids!

Build and test native Android apps seamlessly with @Antigravity. By connecting the @StitchByGoogle MCP and the Android CLI, the agent imports UI designs, converts them into native Jetpack Compose components, validates everything in an emulator, and executes the final build directly on a physical device. A special @Gemini_Notebook moment - we made the @a16z Top 10 GenAI Web Products by Monthly visits! huge thank you to all our users!
The seventh edition of our Top 100 Consumer AI Apps is here. New this time: a revenue leaderboard, alongside the usual web and mobile traffic rankings. Three years ago we published the first edition. ChatGPT was #1, Claude was unranked, and the entire category was chatbots, image generators, and not much else. In today's edition: - ChatGPT still holds the throne, now with 1B+ monthly actives on mobile - Claude has climbed to #3 on web with nearly 1B monthly visits - The category has expanded to vibe coding (Lovable, Cursor, Replit), music (Suno), design (Figma), voice (ElevenLabs), video (Higgsfield, Kling), agents (Manus), and even hardware (Plaud) Full breakdown from @omooretweets: a16z.news/p/top-100-consumer…

King of the millenials
pewdiepie’s character development needs to be studied. > dropped out of university. > worked odd jobs while uploading gaming videos. > became the biggest YouTuber. > got into reading books. > got into drawings (insanely good) > got into philosophy. > moved to Japan and started family vlogs. > got into tech. > deep into linux. > installed arch. > replaced all his google services. > learned coding. > bought tons of GPUs. > made his own local data center. > trained his own LLM. > distilled OpenAI’s Sol into his local model and got banned twice lmao.

There’s something to this self improvement thing…
With a quick setup, Stitch agents now help me improve my products around the clock. Here's how I do it:🧵

npm i -g @google/stitch Going to from idea, to design, to working thing is faster than ever. I've been working on this for quite some time. I poured countless hours into designing this CLI so a coding agent to drive nearly anything in your Stitch Canvas. Stay tuned for a demo video.
We have a Stitch MCP. We have a Stitch SDK. But, we don't have a Stitch CLI. Well, not until now. Introducing the @google/stitch CLI: 🔷 Connect to your local coding agents 🔷 Generate screens and design systems 🔷 Send a local dev server snapshot to Stitch Do it all without leaving the terminal or better yet, ask your favorite harness like @antigravity 😎 Learn more 👇

👨‍🎨 Bring Stitch Design to your coding agent with the new Stitch CLI! high quality rapid design you can co-edit in the canvas. and….. there’s a little self improvement looper in there too for the curious… Send feedback!
