'Cringingly Embarrassing': Farage And Jenrick Mocked For Sea Of Empty Seats At Reform Event

The comments made by Reform UK councillors are abhorrent.
The narrative from Reform is less and less about low taxes, less regulation, smaller government etc and more and more about race and skin colour.
There will be plenty of voters and people who defected to Reform who will see these comments and be disgusted. This is not what they were promised and it is not what they want.

Absolutely spot on
I’m in Edinburgh and being asked a lot of questions about ITV’s Reform expose.
The reported comments show yet again why we’re not doing deals with Reform. We want Reform voters back, not Reform politicians.
Reform voters are being let down by the people who claim to represent them. Many of these people were the ones who let them down in the Conservative Party. We are now under new management.
These people caused a lot of problems and is why I say Nigel Farage has been doing my spring cleaning.
These problems will keep coming for Reform. Just as Farage is being investigated, so is Robert Jenrick, and so is Richard Tice. These problems will never end because of the kind of people they are - they don’t care about high standards of conduct.
That is why I am showing those voters who want to defeat Labour but left the Conservative Party that it’s time to come home. We are under new management, and you deserve better than this.

Pollster note: The changes are within the margin of error, so it's difficult to distinguish signal from noise, but I suspect there is some degree of "conference bounce" there, with the Tories getting a boost from their coverage, and Labour declining again as the temporary impact of their own conference fades.
It may well be a temporary Tory boost, but for the record it means this is the first time that we have had Reform back in third place since 2024 (it’s technically the first time since early 2024 – but we didn’t poll between the election and January 2025 while we were reviewing methods, so we don’t know exactly when Reform overtook the Tories).
Oh dear, another ‘roasting’ for McIvor!
"No laws were broken"
"According to your mates!"
Reform UK councillor Jaymey McIvor is questioned by broadcaster Richard Bacon about an internal party investigation over whether it breached electoral law.

How do you explain this discrepancy, Ticey?
Richard Tice just can’t stop lying.
On Sunday he claimed an investigation into dodgy donations was being carried out by independent layers.
It wasn’t.
It was carried out by Adam Richardson a barrister working for Reform & the parties general secretary Tom Waterhouse.

"A pioneering broadcaster who truly led the way for women in television"
BBC Chief Content Officer Kate Phillips pays tribute to Dame Esther Rantzen
bbc.in/47oWnvE

ALT A quote from BBC Chief Content Officer Kate Phillips, set alongside a black and white image of Dame Esther Rantzen reads - “We are deeply saddened to hear the news about the passing of Dame Esther Rantzen. "She was a formidable force who gave so much of her time to campaigning and supporting others . A pioneering broadcaster who truly led the way for women in television, and her contribution to the BBC was immeasurable. "My very first job in television was working as a runner on That’s Life. I was in awe of her then and I still am. Esther will be hugely missed and our thoughts are with her family and friends at this sad time.”
Really sad to hear that Dame Esther Rantzen lost her brave battle today. Only really remember ‘That’s Life’ as it was coming to an end, but fond memories of her other TV work and activism. A broadcasting legend & pioneer with a huge legacy. We won’t see another quite like her!
