This includes improving working conditions and sorting the pay dispute. Retention must be a top priority. In the longer term, any expansion of medical school places is obsolete without educators to teach, doctors to supervise and specialty training places to graduate into. (2/3)

We welcome @SteveBarclay’s announcement of more medical school places at #CPC23. It’s promising to see the Government accelerate progress on commitments included in the NHS Long Term Plan. But the most important thing is action to stop highly experienced doctors leaving. (1/3)
