Tanner McKee on Monday Night Football against Dallas isnāt what I expected but fuck it. Iāll be there ready to watch some ballā¦
Every Eagles head coach that Iāve seen was treated the same way on their way out:
1) He was never a good coach
2) He shouldāve been fired sooner
3) He wonāt get another coaching job

Eagles HC Nick Sirianniās success comes down to a few things, IMO.
Since 2023, heās gone into almost every game with a roster thatās more talented than the opposition. In 2022, the Eagles caught a lot of teams off guard with a new offense and a defense that feasted on quarterbacks.
Nick has always fallen on the sword for his players. They respect that and fight for him. Most every player I have spoken to over the last 4 years genuinely enjoys playing for him. He also has them get up for games for him. They fight.
He has cultivated a winning culture and deserves credit for navigating 70+ personalities every year, steadying the ship through adversity and keeping the locker room together. That is not an easy task, and content creator analysis neither sees it nor can it quantify it. Having a talented roster is a huge benefit for him, but keeping everyone focused on the task and together has been his superpower.
Siranni isn't perfect, and his scheme, in-game decisions, and aggressive nature are fair to criticize.
I would keep in mind that those who think he doesn't understand the game of football, or lack knowledge due to an offense that lacks creativity, are more hot-take than reality. Believing in an offensive philosophy (ball control, etc.) and not being knowledgeable are not the same.
Heās not perfect, but thereās a difference between criticizing his shortcomings and pretending he hasnāt been a successful head coach.
As much as many do not like his style of play or even his demeanor, he did lead Philadelphia to the Super Bowl 2x in 3 years and won a Lombardi. That does not happen by accident or luck.
I also do not buy into the crowd's "if he is fired, he will never get another job in the NFL"
The fanbase said the same about Jonathan Gannon, and he had a HC job while still employed!
Many said the same about Chip Kelly, and he was the 49ers HC the following year.
I don't know how this ends in Philly for Nick, and everyone runs their course, even the great Andy Reid.
Endings are rarely pleasant or easy.

TOās comments on his apology! exactly.
They aināt wrong but real ones know & most of the ones that donāt like him donāt care about results anyway, they care about the team looking a certain way if you know what I mean.
"The Eagles fan needs to go through this - they need to see what his benefit is to that football team"
All-Pro LB Thomas Davis on Jalen Hurts season-ending injury.
@ThomasDavisDTM | @heykayadams
The Eagles official statement said that Jalen Hurts will remain active around the team.
Wonder if heāll put out a statement of his own at some point or talk about the situation.
If Jalen Hurts doesnāt want to play for the Eagles or wants to sue them then I understand. Iām praying for his recovery. The personal direction is up to him and I hope for the best with whatever he decides.

Jalen led what should have been a game-winning field goal drive in London with blood clots and on ZERO sleep.
You'll never make me hate him. EVER.
This ranks up there with the most unsettling injury or health related news Iāve ever seen with the Eagles. Never imagined this.
The last time we saw Jalen Hurts, he left the field with the lead after a 36-hour period of staying awake due to blood clots.
Heāll be back for another Super Bowl run. The Eagles have to work on getting things right for his return.
