At least @AmonAmarthBand has a new album out now and it's friggin' epic. Imperial stout time and I will be calling it a night while listening to tales of the battles of yore.
We just have to accept that the @steelers defense is terrible. Can't tackle, can't cover, can't do anything right. Change the coaching staff and no change in performance? It's the players. Send the rest to Dallas with Porter.
For the love of god, @Pirates, just shut down Skenes for the season. There's nothing left to play for, just start working on getting him back for 2027.
You gotta work hard to leave 10 men on base in just 4 innings, including multiple times with at least 2 on and no outs. Truly heinous hitting approach today, @Pirates
Egads Henry Davis is a terrible hitter. I don't care how good he is defensively, there's just no way the Pirates can keep him and expect to contend in 2028 (let us all just accept there will not be a 2027 season and move along).
This was a good jinx with your article today @GeoffGrammer
May is from Albuquerque, graduated from Sandia many, many years after me. He's been pitching at High-A Beloit. Could join the Isotopes sometime next season.
SELL. Do not waste prospects chasing relievers. shut down Skenes, get his arm checked out by specialists outside the org. Oh, and fire Cherington ... into the sun.
I believe the national publication over the local: baseballamerica.com/stories/…
Scoring is expected to rise as players get the green light to swing lighter bats. Here's what local coaches think. abqjournal.com/sports/better…
The Gatorade NM Baseball Player of the Year will have to decide between pro ball or playing at LSU.
With their 5th-round pick (No. 159 overall), the @Cubs select La Cueva HS (NM) RHP Dylan Blomker.

Regan managed the 1996 Albuquerque Dukes. When I was an intern at the Tribune and shadowing a sports reporter, we went into his office. I was warned that Regan could be gruff and intimidating. He was neither, just a good guy with a lot of baseball wisdom to share.
