You must win. If you don’t, every woman in Canada loses. Even those who are your most vicious critics today will lose. Or their daughters.
November 10, 12 & 13: The dates of my appeal trial at the BC Supreme Court. I am appealing a ruling that found me guilty of "unprofessional conduct" for advocating for the rights of women and children in my off-duty time. My regulator, the BC College of Nurses, investigated me at the behest of a cancellation mob after receiving complaints from members of the public I've never met. I have never had a patient complaint. I was dragged through years of disciplinary hearings, lasting longer than a murder trial. (My fight was made possible by @JCCFCanada and @LDBildy.) After my guilty verdict, I was told I would face a 1 month suspension and had to pay $94,000 to the BCCNM. My employer of 13 years, Vancouver Coastal Health, fired me with no severance, and no way to even collect EI. I was a single mom with 2 young boys. The suspension and $94k was put on hold for the appeal. My name is blacklisted and I essentially was pushed out of the profession entirely. I first noticed the rise of gender ideology a decade ago, and I was fascinated and repulsed that women were being told to shut up about their experiences to make way for people who identify as us. Then I came to understand that paediatric "gender affirming care" is a terrible medical scandal, probably worse than the lobotomy. I began to write about the topic and, with another BC woman, began to organize events to discuss gender ideology. We faced vicious threats, protests, and attempts to shut us down. Later, of course, I was involved in a billboard project that drew a lot of ire from trans activists. Never could I have imagined that life would go in this direction: being smeared as a bigot across the country; losing my career and long-term financial stability; and spending 6+ years in a protracted legal battle. I'm still fighting because I care about the truth, free speech (for all of us, but especially for regulated professionals, who don't deserve to be policed in their private lives and forced to go along with state orthodoxy), and women's rights. Please follow along for updates.

#IStandWithAmyHamm Woman of courage facing the dystopian remnant of woke #BritishColumbia . This is STATE BULLYING of an innocent truth-teller. Stay strong, Amy!! The reality of #biology that you are being punished for mentioning is far more historic than #BC’s famous old growth forests. 🌲 #Nature is on your side. Many of us are on your side. 🌹 #bcpoli #bcleg #cdnpoli 🇨🇦

WOW! Young Italian delivered a furious, emotional speech after violent riots erupted in his city Milan, caused by third-world invaders. “I can’t stand these people anymore. I know so many people who come here from all over the world, work hard, and are already out working at five in the morning. If you come here and destroy my country, you’ll be sent back to your own country kicking and screaming! I’ve had enough of this bullshit. I can’t take it anymore! And then they come here, and everything is supposed to be fine? Well, if they rape my daughter or my sister, then we’ll talk! Let’s see Ashline come here and say all this bullshit to our faces! I can’t stand these people anymore. I’m 23 years old, and I want to live in my own city! And we have to be the ones to start. We have to be the ones to rise up and fight back! My city doesn’t even exist anymore. My grandfather, my great-grandfather—they built all of this.”

Can you imagine being this boy's parents? Letting him do this? He switched from the boys category to girls' and he went from placing 76th in boys to 2nd in girls a month later.
Male advantage is larger and more durable than performance-enhancing drugs. And it’s why shitty male athletes place in the women’s category. Boys like Logan here.

"It’s time to recognize that @MeghanEMurphy was completely correct in 2017 when she testified to the senate that Bill C-16, which added ‘gender identity’ to the Canadian Human Rights Act, would legally force women to be inclusive of men without regard for our own safeguarding."
Great to hear @KellyDeRidderMP standing up for women and girls in committee. This is the just the start of the types of conversations we need to be having to ensure that the equal dignity of women and girls is protected, not subverted to the tyranny of a minority. It’s time to recognize that @MeghanEMurphy was completely correct in 2017 when she testified to the senate that Bill C-16, which added ‘gender identity’ to the Canadian Human Rights Act, would legally force women to be inclusive of men without regard for our own safeguarding.

Hang on. So Albertans who want a referendum to control their own destiny are “traitors”, but socialist radicals chopping up B.C. and undermining sovereignty, without a mandate, is just Canada as usual?

Today and tomorrow @VanLesbians are in court applying for intervener status in Amy Hamm's appeal. Some women got together to put posters up near the court house with some messages for media (especially @CBCNews), activists, corporations and the general public to consider. 1/2

Caution didn't win women the vote, or equal pay, or fair sport, or the right to single-sex spaces. Sophie Cunningham is standing up for women and girls everywhere and it's glorious. Fuck caution.
