NEW TRIAL: Rapper Markies Conway aka Yella Beezy on trial for murder-for-hire. Opening statements this morning. He faces allegations of hiring Kewon White to kill fellow rapper and rival Mo3, whose legal name was Melvin Noble. Mo3 was shot and killed on November 11, 2020, after a gunman chased him on foot along Interstate 35E. Prosecutors allege Conway promised White payment to carry out the killing.
