Dear Godrich. You are foolish and stupid. And know nothing about journalism or the responsibilities of a journalist. It is also not up to a politician to decide angle and timing. The right time and space to ask a question is when the person is right in front of you. A good journalist has no obligation to stick to the theme of YOUR occasion. He must ask what his audience deems to be in the public interest. "Sense of occasion?" Which journalism module taught you that? Get your head out of your leader's backside.
Dear Redi, there is a better way to ask a question to achieve what you want. Time and space and angle. That was amertuerish and he was pushing a narrative......he is embedded or trying to be famous as if he is brave. That was foolish and stupid. He could have done better from an objective angle with appreciation of sense of occassion. He will forever remain to be known for such stupidity.

White gay male. But none of that counts when you concentrate on issues like this man does. He doesn't stand in front of the people as a white man, or a gay man. He's there talking as a human being who understands and feels their pain and is offering a solution. In a language they understand. Politics of issues.
Not that his race or sexuality should be hidden. People know about it. But that doesn't matter and should'nt matter. Stick to the issues. Identity politics is a distraction.
