Spatchcocking and roasting a chicken for dinner tonight. Then my wife asks, “can you make chicken gravy like my grandma did?” Sure, sure, no pressure at all

This reads like a Hollywood script but it’s real. Good read imo if you’re so inclined

Please pray for a peaceful resolution to a neighborhood standoff in the next block. A guy with mental illness broke into his recently-tax-foreclosed house and is refusing to come out. For some reason they even have a chopper overhead. Pray for Michael and all involved. thx

In case you wondered, “Come out with your hands up” is an actual phrase they use. It’s just not something you expect to hear when you get out of your car after a day of work

Over a month since I bought this car before the first French fry dropped between the seat and center console. Not too shabby!

My 20yo called yesterday afternoon to get advice on working with fondant. I had no idea this is what I was aiding and abetting

So cool!
The "Prima Ballerina" fountain is located in Kosciuszko Square in the town center of Poddębice, Poland. Unveiled on August 3, 2024, this public installation features three ballerinas standing 2m tall, crafted by Polish sculptor Małgorzata Chodakowska who currently lives in Dresden. Her work lies at the intersection of sculpture and water installations and her portfolio includes projects in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Chodakowska's work is undeniably wonderful!

Very little as delicious on a cold day in Vienna than Käsekrainer (a Bratwurst containing liquid cheese). To be consumed at the sausage stands near St. Stephen. Just take my word for it

Our church bells controller malfunctioned last year and started tolling continuously at about 5am, didn’t stop for over an hour. As the one Catholic in the immediate neighborhood, you can bet I heard about it. So be sure to include a kill switch, @BackwardsFeet
I don't understand why electronic church bell controllers cost tens of thousands of dollars. It's literally just sending an electric signal up to the hammer in the tower. What is the reason I can't whip up something with an Arduino or RPi and a few relays
