I am beyond contempt for this woman who leads a party who supports men being able to change their sex on government ids, supports “gender affirming care” for children, compelled pronouns, vilification laws like those used against Kirralie Smith, and education which teaches children they may be “born in the wrong body”. And women celebrating it as if it’s a win - it’s like accepting crumbs when we are starving. I understand why people are excited, but it is meaningless. She protects her workplace, having ignored and continues to ignore other women who can’t say or do anything about gender ideology who aren’t in her powerful privileged position. How is she really any better than Julia Gillard? Does she know what a woman is? And if she says yes and answers correctly, why isn’t she standing up and fighting for their sex based rights?
