Now I'm writing what Korean crypto looks like from the inside: Upbit listings, kimchi premium, regulation, and the degen culture nobody translates.

When Korean demand runs hot, coins trade at a premium on Korean exchanges. Watching that "kimchi premium" tells you how heated local retail is.
That same pressure works in reverse. An "investment warning" tag or a delisting notice can dump a coin just as fast.
Listings drop as a notice on Upbit, and Korean Telegram and KakaoTalk groups spread it within minutes. Bots front-run it on global exchanges too.
Korean retail can't use leverage on local exchanges. So spot buying is the main way to express conviction, and that demand hits all at once.
Korean exchanges trade against KRW, and most Korean retail money lives there. A listing opens a huge pool of buyers who can't easily go anywhere else.
