And right now our defence minister Helen McEntee is concerned with one war in particular: the war between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
McEntee says Irish troops should be deployed to Lebanon as part of a new EU mission involved with not only peacekeeping – but peace enforcement.
Peace enforcement includes joining “coalitions of the willing” and fighting wars of aggression like the 20-year Afghanistan war, and the wars in Iraq, which claimed the lives of well over a million people.
If we consider the ideals the state was founded on, it is clear that Irish soldiers should never be involved in these kinds of missions.

Phase one of the disruption operation took place during the election, with the right wing governors and mayors disrupting the process. The supreme court intervened to counter that it appears. This kicked in the 2nd phase, which is the denial we see here. The likely 3rd phase will kick off tomorrow when the Trump-Rubio regime starts their propaganda campaign in support of the attempted right-wing coup Bolsonaro is trying to set in motion.
