September 30 marks National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a day to remember the children who never returned home and to honour Survivors and the generations affected by residential schools. This year, Canadians can take part in a national moment of remembrance through Remembering the Children, the annual national commemorative gathering from Parliament Hill. The event brings together Survivors, Elders, Indigenous leaders, and First Nations, Inuit and Métis artists to honour the children and reflect on the lasting impacts of residential schools. Presented in partnership with @APTNtv , @CBC , @NCTR_UM and TVO TVO will rebroadcast Remembering the Children at 7 p.m., giving audiences across Ontario an opportunity to take part in this national commemoration from home. Every Child Matters.
