Pete Crow Armstrong stopped by the gallery this morning before he’s off to the Bears game. I gave him a few small prints of my Wrigley Field paintings and congratulated him on a great season. I wanted to tell him about how I played center field for Lake Forest College back in 1996-2000, but figured that wouldn’t be very impressive. 😂😂😂 He was pumped about the prints.

"All I can say is that I love being a Cub. I've loved my time. I've loved the place, the people, Wrigley Field, the fanbase. And it's been truly special. I don't think there's a better place in baseball to play." Ian Happ on being a Cub.

Seven days ago, Alex Bregman was hit in the face by a foul ball and suffered multiple facial fractures. Today, he has two home runs. Unreal.
