My notifications tab is basically a clone of my feed. Enough already, make the “See less often” button actually do something.

Gutted the kitchen from the studs back for a period correct style (1929-1930), this is the final-final_Finished—finalV.5.9.7, finally 😄

1930’s syrup dispenser I restored. Uranium green glass and glazed ceramic base. Takes about three full bottles.

Restored this little GE fan for the office. Repainted in original forest green, new felt pad, new head wire and cord, polished hardware, new wick, oil and grease. Blades are balanced and runs so smooth.

If you have multiple Instagram accounts, double-tap the profile icon in the tab bar switches automatically to that account. Pretty neat!

Removing paint from these switches I love. Real iridescent mother-of-pearl inlays that the reproductions cannot match. Most satisfying click action, durable mechanism and easy to rebuild. Popular from the late 1890’s to the 1930’s.

While renovating my house I rented a porta-potty. City workers doing construction nearby were using it without asking. I put a padlock on it. Now they ask for permission. Saying no to them because of COVID is beyond their comprehension so now I just say they can’t aim right.
