The irreplaceable @twr1 died last Tuesday after a brave battle with a long illness, aged 69. 🧵
He was a kind, gentle, caring man who’s wit, humour and quirky little ways will be sorely missed by all who knew him, not least his loving wife and four fiercely proud girls who idolised him and miss him desperately.
Deeply considerate, hilariously funny, super sensitive, our @twr1 was someone who believed in social justice. Who wanted a fairer world. And who was selfless til the very end.
He valued every follower. Every like and retweet. He found fun and fondness in those he followed too.

To all my friends on Twitter: I've not given up, but have been ill with a kidney infection. By the time I got treatment, it had been complicated by sepsis as well. Sleeping 20 hrs a day, can't eat, can just about manage water, in a huge amount of pain. Will look in when I can X

Jesus wept.

We've added another 45 or so lies, falsehoods and misleading statements to the website today, bringing the total recorded to well over 400. Sadly, many more to be published. This task never ends.

I can’t get my head around the information that we could stop isolating and testing for covid next week. It’s like living in a dystopian novel. #JohnsonOut_23
