Through the 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'' South American tour, they once again proved their global influence and sold-out status for every show. BTS's visit brought significant economic ripple effects across South America. In Buenos Aires, Argentina, 96% of the audience came from outside the region, and over 130,000 visitors from 11 countries made their first visit. More than 48,000 people stayed for at least one day, with an average stay of 3.5 nights, and the amount spent on accommodation, food, and beverages was estimated at approximately 53 billion Argentine pesos (approximately 46 billion KRW). Indicators surged in other cities as well. In Lima, Peru, the number of ride requests skyrocketed 15 times on the first day of a performance and up to 48 times after it ended, impacting local transportation infrastructure.
