📝 Event Report: Stripe Japan Payments Summit 2026
Today at the Stripe Japan Payments Summit 2026, ZAIKO’s COO Sach and CTO Andrew took the stage to speak about the future of payments.
During the session, themed “AI-Driven Next-Generation Payment Strategies,” they shared the journey ZAIKO has taken together with Stripe, and discussed the vision for the future of event commerce.
🚀 A new challenge: ZAIKO × Stripe
ZAIKO is currently working closely with Stripe to develop a next-generation POS (Point of Sales) system, the first of its kind in Japan designed specifically for live events. This system will enable seamless payments for tickets, merchandise, food, and drinks directly at event venues.
This project aims to transform the payment experience in the events industry, and the public launch is coming soon.

In 2008 Microsoft bid $44.6B to buy yahoo and failed. Today Yahoo and AOL were sold in a package deal for $5B.
That's $1 for every AOL installer disk that was used as a coaster.
@TwitterAPI 30mins in, still having failure. Looking at api.twitterstat.us gotta assume that "All Systems" are not in fact operational... please advise.
