This is my feeling about today: "What’s a polite way to tell someone, “I’m not discussing this with you because your entire understanding of the subject is built on so many interconnected misconceptions that correcting them would require uninstalling your current worldview and starting the tutorial from birth”?

.@davidsenra says Shopify CEO @tobi told him we're going to look back at 2026 as "the year that every single business in the world was up for grabs." "That AI is coming for everything." "And you're going to look back and realize that this is the year it should have been obvious that you could rebuild the AI-native version of whatever exists out there."

GPUs from 24 months ago are at roughly 100% utilization capacity and old chips are in many cases trading for above their original price due to scarce supply relative to demand. They will have long useful lives even as new chips come out Knowledge work labor spend today is in the trillions of dollars today, and while AI will be cheaper per unit of knowledge work than labor, it will also expand the volume of knowledge work dramatically The entire global economy is going to be rearchitected around AI Given that fact pattern it’s pretty safe to say the IRR on this capital spend in excess of a hyperscaler’s WACC, even given how large the capex is

I think I will be launching this coming weekend. Speculative DAO. Think mechanisms fix the issues we’ve seen in this space before. Maybe they won’t, but I will post docs and mathematical proofs here and you can decide. God bless. More to come after.

I despise those who make work into religion. The higher man cultivates otium (leisure in the highest sense), and rejects negotium (the denial of leisure).

You only need to be right 1-2 times in life. For me it was affiliate/SEO parlayed into crypto. Unwavering conviction. The rest is all BS. Seek adventure and side quests after. Delete the apps. It’s all turning into slop anyways.

As I've aged I view the world less as atoms and more as experience and symbolic connection. We can say God is truth - and watch him act through consequences. I just think this whole reductionist take on religion has taken us to a bad place and simply isn't useful.

As a Dawkins-era atheist I underestimated Christianity’s role as a civilisational operating system. I took its moral foundations for granted, assuming they were so self-evident that all humans would reach them once basic needs were met.

A tough reality is that you won’t hear sustainable abundance on the evening news. But it’s the real story shaping our future.
