Yaxel Lendeborg through three quarters: 27 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists. He's only 1-of-7 on 3s, but just took over the game late 3Q with physical downhill driving. He's 7-of-10 on 2s and 10-of-11 at the free throw line. Warriors up 16 in Denver. Yaxel is a +22.

Michigan’s Sunday contest with Houston demonstrated exactly why you schedule tough non conference games in the preseason. Some good, more bad, and a lot of valuable data for Michigan to build on before the season kicks off. More for @umhoops: umhoops.com/2026/10/25/houst…

Michigan wraps up exhibition play with an 83-66 loss to Houston in Grand Rapids. Cougars are one of the most physical teams in the country every year, and this will be a good learning experience for the Wolverines. Just over a week until tip.

You can see why Michigan wants Roddy Gayle Jr. back with this roster. He's making an impact on both ends of the court. Transition three, deflections on defense, downhill drives. Up to 9 points in 17 minutes.

A very October half between Michigan and Houston. Both teams had some ugly offensive stretches; both showed flashes, committed a ton of fouls (24 total), but live competitive reps like this will be valuable next month.
