Cuffing season is approaching, so here is my unsolicited advice for finding love. 1. Appreciate things as much as you can. All the little things that typically go unnoticed in your day need to start receiving your love for life. A convenient green light, an extra-helpful service worker, a cute squirrel that lets you get just a little closer than usual. It is from your appreciation for life that the rest of your charisma will find its vigour. 2. Show and receive bids of affection graciously (and never stop). You may find that this is easier earlier in a relationship, when you’re both “drunk on love,” but it is especially important when things aren’t going so well. If your date does something to upset you, communicate it and establish your boundaries, but please don’t hold it against them if they’re trying to show you that they’re sorry. Let things go. There is no love without forgiveness. 3. Learn each other’s love languages. Your relationship is unique to you; learn how to express love in ways that make sense to your partner. Don’t compare yourself to other relationships, because what works for other people may not work for you and your partner. I believe the key to a successful long term relationship is rooted in a willingness to explore and refine a love language that only you and your partner would perfectly understand. 4. DO NOT BE AFRAID. If you are attracted to someone, tell them. The worst thing that can happen is nothing. You never know how they’re feeling. This is honestly the easiest part, all things considered. Good luck, have fun (important) and remember to communicate <3

The annoying part about discussing capitalism with people who hate it is that they get to compare the most perfect, idealized version of their preferred systems against capitalism as it actually exists (with all its imperfections). How is that fair?
Everyone is being so mean to me for my ideological profile... just a reminder that capitalists are the most oppressed class

This isn’t a problem because they are right where they want to be. You really only end up in these make believe zones if you lack the drive to address the very real character flaws that prevent you from getting what you say you want.
If I'm right, there is such a thing as a causal sex zone, and men keep falling into it. "Steak too juicy" no, I know a lot of guys who are successful with women if success means sex, but struggle to get commitment, and I'm not seeing an obvious fix.

If you ever hear someone complain about a friendzone ask them what they’re doing about it. It’s eye opening. You want A but you’re getting B. You’re also continuously choosing to get B instead of pursuing A, why? Do you know how to get A, how do you plan on getting A? Why do you think you’re not getting A? 9/10 times it’s simply willful ignorance of the most obvious things. You actually want B. You telling me you want A is a lie. You want B but you want me to think you want A.

Friendzone grievance is the most pathetic fake self victimhood shit ever.

It warms my heart that you guys choose to follow me for my boring “sky is blue” captain obvious ass takes. I’m uninteresting but I’m probably also an oasis of normalcy on this crazy app.

How am I supposed to manage a relationship with someone who has BPD?

I’m going to be honest: I almost certainly wouldn’t bother trying. I would view this person as high risk and distance myself from them as much as possible. To be fair, I recognize that this would make me a “bad” friend to them, but what am I supposed to do? What is reasonably expected of me?

This is called making assumptions. But the most revealing part is the excuse: “I don’t make the rules.” You invent a woman’s sexual history, decide she owes you the same access you imagine other men received, and call sex a “return on investment.” Then you blame society for how you chose to treat her. Gentlemen, if this is how you view dating, women, and intimacy, consider what you are allowing resentment to make of you. Even if every assumption were true, her past would create no debt for you to collect. That is the poison: a worldview where decency is conditional, intimacy is a commodity, and every perceived wrong gives us permission to wrong someone else. It teaches people to surrender responsibility for their character while congratulating themselves for understanding how the world works. How much ugliness are we willing to excuse in ourselves by saying society made us this way?
Follow-up to prior tweet. She responded to my friend this morning and he sent her one final text. Unfortunate with how things turned out but if she’s not genuinely attracted, what else can he do?

My friend went on 3 great dates with a girl (yes this included dinner dates), no sex. I told him he’s cooked, that he should cut his losses. The girl wasn’t happy when he told her it’s over. Was he too harsh towards her? Should he have done a fourth date?

In this case he did her a solid favour.

The French have started attacking Americans. Arabs are siding with the French against Japan and Argentina. It seems like Turkey has quietly surrendered.
For those of you are out of the loop there is a great Twitter war between Turkey and China right now and both sides seem to have gathered allies. There are real tears in my eyes.

I grew up reading Bible stories and going to church as a child. In high school, I attended church many times because my friend’s mom made her go, so I’d join her for fun. I can’t help but feel that if I haven’t found faith in Christianity yet, it’s prob never going to happen.

My parents aren’t even religious. I read bible stories for fun. I only attended church because my parents thought the sense of community would be good for me. I stopped going because I thought the preaching was annoying and unconvincing.

Has enough time passed yet for us to admit he was a terrible debater? Or is MAGA still pretending he wasn’t a gish galloping gimmick artist who made a career off dunking on completely unprepared college students?
Amanda Seyfried says “I’m not fucking apologizing” for calling Charlie Kirk “hateful” “I mean, for fuck's sake, I commented on one thing. I said something that was based on actual reality, actual footage and actual quotes. What I said was pretty damn factual, and I'm free to have an opinion” (Source: whowhatwear.com/fashion/cove…)

Your partner danced with someone at a party. They had no intentions of sleeping with them. Aside from the dance nothing else happened. No contact information was exchanged between them. Is this cheating? Would you break up over this?
